The only thing I could remember was that I went out that night to see him. He had replied my messages after many days asking me to meet him at that club. I had a loud bang and people screaming before blacking out. I looked up to the ginger hair cop and smiled weakly.
"We will have you here once we find any other clue". He said then pointed at the mean cop from last night.
"He will keep an eye on you for the main time".
"So, am not getting arrested?". I asked him knowing that they had made it seen like I will rot in jail.
"Not yet. No clear evidence, but have it at the back off your mind that we aren't letting you go free young man". He said with a face that would have made me laugh if today was a good day.
"Officer Jonathan will keep an eye on you". He said looking at the wide glass window where the cop was standing.
I wouldn't ask him about what really happened that night. I can't bring myself to, they can't find out about him. I was meant to go back to my condo since I have class tomorrow but it's seem like I still have tons to deal with.
"Get in, I will drop you off". The mean cop said starting the car engine. He looked like he wouldn't repeat what he said twice so I quickly got into his car this time it's not a cop car.
"You stay out of trouble this time. You just turn 19 and you are already clubbing". He said with a stern look. I didn't know what to reply, I shouldn't be just saying anything.
"I have no idea". I replied with a sad voice.
My prayer was to get in my apartment and sleep away my sorrow. I have spent the night at the police station. I don't know how to face people now. my friends at school, my roommate, and people I know around the hood. I closed my eyes and slept off. I could hear my name from a distance like someone was calling me. Young lad! Young lad!.. podie!!
I opened my eyes widely immediately to see the mean cop hovering around me.
"W..what a.. are You do..doing?". I asked with a scared voice.
