Not Friends.

I really thought I had finally had my peace. Who could have thought that peace and my name can't be in the same sentence. I looked up to apologize to the one that I bumped into but was greeted by that awfully familiar face that I haven't seen for almost a week now. What was he doing here?. The issue about the murder case is still going on and they haven't find enough evidence or clue that actually showed that I did it. I was about to walk pass him when he pulled me back.

"We need to talk". He said with a serious tone. I smiled a little bit and pulled my hand back from him.

"Haven't we talked enough. What else do you want me to say". I said really getting annoyed now.

"Look, podie, I need you to tell me what actually happened that night".

"Call me by my actual name, we are not friends for you to call me that". He had been on me since that night about telling him what actually happened. I mean I know I haven't said anything concerning him but I have to keep it a secret. After I had got out of that station I had been calling him but the number as usual had been off. I want to see him. At least ask him what happened that night cause he was the only one I saw before blacking out. I want to hear his voice at least to know if he was okay.

"Don't you want to be free". The mean cop asked with a concerned look. I looked up at him and nodded.

"I do, I really do but I swear I can't remember anything". He held my gaze for a minute and sighed. Seems like he had given up or I thought so.

"Where are you going?. Hop on, I will take you?". He will what?, no. Big no. I can't let him be close to me or anything.

"No thanks. I can get myself there".

"No it's okay, I will take you. Hop on". I regretfully got in his car and told him where I was going.
