"Your statistics are okay and your body is recovering very well," the doctor smiled gently, "from the look of things you will be out of the hospital in a week's time."
"That's wonderful." Feng Mei Hiu quipped. "Doctor Ling must be swamped with work seeing as he didn't come by himself." Feng Mei Hiu had become used to the feisty omega doctor who always wore a serious look when he checked on him, seeing a new doctor felt strange and while he had a feeling that doctor Ling didn't like him, he had become used to the man.
At once the doctor's smile crumbled, "Doctor Ling is busy with another patient, I will be in charge of you for the time being." He grabbed his things and rushed out as though his ass was on fire.
That's strange. Feng Mei Hiu frowned.
"You're too suspicious." Xiao Li Ja Tong snorted.
"Too suspicious?" Feng Mei cocked his eyebrows, "the doctor was behaving weird, something is fishy."
"Not as fishy as that weird note you found on your bed."
"I have a feeling that the note was dropped by someone who infiltrated the workers from Lana's Garden." Feng Mei Hiu glared at the red roses hung on the wall.
"What are you going to do? The note sounds ominous." Xioa Li Ja Tong asked worriedly.
Feng Mei Hiu frowned in contemplation, the former Feng Mei Hiu's life seemed complicated. "I will handle it when I am out of the hospital."
"How will you handle it?" Xioa Li Ja Tong buzzed with curiosity.
"You will see." Feng Mei Hiu was not keen on sharing his plan with an unknown entity. Just because he was civil with the system didn't mean he trusted it.
He hopped down from the bed, the heated floor comfortable on his bare feet as he padded towards the door.
"Gentlemen," Feng Mei Hiu's red lips curved into a devious smile as he poked his head out from the door, blue eyes taking in the bored Cheng Xui and the annoyed Li Feng.
"Li Feng come help me peel an apple." Feng Mei smiled wider at the way the man's face crumpled immediately.
"With all due respect Young Master Feng, we are your bodyguards not your personal servant." Li Feng said with stiff politeness, traces of anger evident in his tone.
"As bodyguards, your job is to keep me safe right?" Both men exchanged bewildered looks, were was this going.
"I am such a delicate omega, what if I end up cutting myself with the knife under the strain of the apple and bleed to death," Feng Mei Hiu gasped dramatically, waving a pale wrist in the air.
"That is ridiculously impossible." Li Feng frowned at the absurdity.
"It's not impossible, people have died from stranger things." Feng Mei Hiu gave him a pointed stare.
"Just go in and peel the bloody apple Li Feng." Cheng Xui sighed.
Feng Mei Hiu cocked a brow at the easy win, normally it was harder than this to get the guards to give in. It was daily routine for Feng Mei Hiu to annoy the guards just to satiate his own boredom, but today something felt off, both men seemed more moody, their stance tense and Feng Mei Hiu could catch a glimpse of worry from the men.

"It's done." Li Feng handed the peeled apple to Feng Mei Hiu who was relaxed on a couch flipping through a fashion magazine in boredom.
"Carve it like a bunny." Feng Mei Hiu flung the magazine on the crystal table and grabbed the remote.
Li Feng stifled an angry growl as the television roared to life, loud music filling the room.
"It's done Young Master Feng." Li Feng handed the apple to Feng Mei Hiu.
Feng Mei Hiu stifled a laugh as he stared at the deformed apple, "you certainly have an interesting outlook on bunnies."
The door opened slightly as Cheng Xui peeked into the room, "the nurses are here with your medicine Young Master Feng."
Feng Mei Hiu nodded as Li Feng exited the room swiftly before some other weird task was shoved onto him.
"Young Master Feng is talented, you managed to carve an apple like...poop." The beta nurse stared at the apple in wonder.
"That's a bunny." Feng Mei Hiu corrected with a hum.
A bunny? "Young Master Feng has such unquie art." She forced out a compliment.
Feng Mei Hiu laughed, his blue eyes glancing at the omega nurse who was preparing the medicines, her usual cheerful personality looked glum.
"Nurse Wu is everything alright?" Feng Mei Hiu asked.
"I am fine, it's just Young Master Han..."
"Wu Moran." The beta nurse cut her off with a harsh glare.
Feng Mei Hiu swiftly connected the dots. Doctor Ling's absence, the doctor's strangeness, the guards moodiness. Something had happened to Han Yichen.
"Nurse Wu, nurse Chan did something happen to Han Yichen?" Feng Mei Hiu glanced at the nurses.
Both nurse looked hesitant to say anything, a silent conversation passing between both women. "Please tell me what's going on, is something wrong with Yichen? What happened to my Yichen?" Feng Mei Hiu grasped the hands of the nurses.
"My Yichen? The goosebumps." Xioa Li Ja Tong shuddered in his mind.
"I wasn't a movie king for nothing." Feng Mei Hiu smirked.
Nurse Chan heaved a defeated sigh and gave in. "Young Master Han was shot yesterday."
"What?" Feng Mei Hiu didn't have to feign his suprise.
"We don't know much about his condition as Doctor Ling is keeping his condition secret, but he looked bad when he was rushed in yesterday, so pale and so much blood." Nurse Wu shuddered.
"He's out of danger though and his ward is right next to yours so don't worry." Nurse Chan added as both nurses got to work.

"Both of you, come with me." Feng Mei Hiu brushed past the guards with ease.
"Where are we going?" Cheng Xui asked as they picked up pace behind Feng Mei Hiu
"To see your boss." Feng Mei Hiu threw them a smirk over his shoulder.
"You know?" Li Feng frowned "how?"
"It's the power of love, you just know when your other half is in pain." He could see a group of men clad in black suit lined up in front of the next ward.
"Those gossiping nurses." Cheng Xui rolled his eyes.
"Let me through." Feng Mei Hiu observed the men, each one was clad in a black suit, a golden dragon crest was pinned to their chest pocket, their expressions serious and their aura deadly.
"You have no business here." A man frowned at Feng Mei Hiu, glaring him down as though he was a bothering fly.
"He's with us." Cheng Xui stepped forward, the man clearly recognized Cheng Xui but his stance remained firm. "Nobody is allowed to enter without Young Master Han's permission."
"Young Master Feng." A light chuckle sounded, as a delicate and equally strong hand pushed the big man out of the way.
Feng Mei Hiu gazed at the woman, she was an alpha, standing at equal feet with the men, her blonde hair was tied into a high ponytail, two strands framing her face. Caramel skin stretched over high cheek bones and gorgeous facial features, her green eyes sparkling like emerald's, the diamond earring enhancing her plump lips. Like the men she too was dressed in a dark suit which hugged her curves, a silver dragon ring gleaming on her hand.
"You are here to see Young Master Han right? I will take you to him." She nodded in acknowledgment of Li Feng and Cheng Xui.
"But Cara.." the man began only to be cut off by a harsh glare.
Cara led Feng Mei Hiu through the group of alpha's with ease. Feng Mei Hiu could feel their disapproval but they feared Cara, he observed the woman in front of him, how interesting.
"I am afraid you will have to go in alone." Cara smiled as she opened the door.
"Thank you." Feng Mei Hiu threw her a glance and entered the room, the door closing behind him.
Feng Mei Hiu didn't spare a glance at the luxurious room, his attention drawn towards the weird scene on the bed. Han Yichen's figure was covered by the body of a woman in a short red dress, her black hair shielding her facial features, their lips so close it seemed they were about to kiss.
"Am I interrupting?" Feng Mei Hiu cleared his throat as he leaned against the door.
The woman turned, the word hatred was etched into her beautiful features as she glared at Feng Mei Hiu. "What are you doing here Feng Mei Hiu?" She pointed at him.
Feng Mei Hiu paid her no heed, his blue eyes fixed on a smirking Han Yichen.
"Missing me?" Han Yichen arched a brow.
"Well I heard that a new neighbor moved into the room beside mine, so I decided to pay my next door neighbor a visit." Feng Mei Hiu winked.
