Shock Filled The Hokage Office!

In Hokage's office, Sarutobi was working on some documents.

"Lord Hokage, something has happened in the Hidden Mist Village!"

A shadowy figure appeared in front of Sarutobi.

"What's the big deal?" Orochimaru, who was sitting next to Sarutobi, glanced at the shinobi curiously.

Sarutobi frowned and asked, "What's happened?"

"Jiraiya was unable to stop the Seven Ninja Swordsmen in the Hidden Mist Village. They've headed west."

"West?" Sarutobi muttered, glancing at the map, his eyes widening in realization. "Damn, we couldn't stop the Seven Ninja Swordsmen?"

Sarutobi's anger flared up, and the air around him grew tense. Even the Anbu around them seemed to feel it.

Orochimaru, ever curious, observed with interest.

"Yes, Hokage-sama," the shinobi replied. "Jiraiya has been injured and is out of commission."

The Seven Ninja Swordsmen were the strongest elite jōnin under the Mizukage, and their combined power could wipe out entire villages. Now they were heading towards a forest in the mountains, where Terumi Mei might be hiding. Yoruichi was also in that direction. If something happened to him, Konoha would be in serious trouble.

But it might already be too late.

Orochimaru smirked. "So, Jiraiya has realized he's been deceived? Is there no hope left?"

"Lord Jiraiya said he's sent the fastest ninja to intercept them."

Orochimaru's eyes narrowed. "It's too easy to be deceived."

The Anbu operative hurriedly spoke. "It was the intelligence division that failed."

"Who was in charge of the intelligence?"

"It was Ryosuke Mito and Shun Mato," the operative replied.

Sarutobi's eyes grew cold, and his voice turned sharp. "Ryosuke Mito and Shun Mato? What were they thinking?"

"Menma, Koharu," Sarutobi muttered. "You still stand by the Will of Fire, don't you? Do you still understand how crucial this is to Konoha?"

Sarutobi took a deep breath, the anger radiating from him. "The Mito clan and the Shimura clan... attacking Yoruichi without warning. This is a direct insult to the Hokage."

He turned to his Anbu. "Send out the order immediately!"

Knock knock!

Before Sarutobi could finish, Mito Menma and Koharu entered, along with their children, Ryosuke Mito and Shun Mato.

"Hokage-sama," they greeted in unison.

Sarutobi shot a cold glance at them before speaking. "Orochimaru, stay outside. Menma, Koharu, sit. Everyone else, leave."

"Yes, Sensei," Orochimaru said with a grin as he left the room.

The room was left with just Sarutobi, Menma, and Koharu. The tension in the air was thick, as if a storm was coming.

Menma couldn't stand the silence and said, "Sarutobi, these were mistakes, not intentional on our part."

"Is that so?" Sarutobi replied, his voice low and cold.

"Sarutobi," Koharu added, "the origins of Yoruichi are mysterious. No one knows if he's a threat or not. We're only doing what's best for Konoha."

Sarutobi stayed silent, his gaze fixed on his two former comrades.

Menma continued, "This is about Konoha's future. We need to remind him that no one is above the village."

Sarutobi clenched his fists. The Shimura clan, the Mito clan, and the Sarutobi clan all had their own interests. But there was a line that should not be crossed.

The two clans wanted to remind Sarutobi that their power was not something to be trifled with. They had given Yoruichi a warning—one he had to heed.

The silence grew heavier.

Finally, Menma spoke again, "Sarutobi, we still need you to handle the return of Danzo."

"Danzo..." Sarutobi muttered under his breath. The return of Danzo was not just a matter of one person—it was a signal of something much larger.

The door opened again, and in walked Minato Namikaze.

"Hokage-sama," Minato said, bowing.

"Minato," Sarutobi acknowledged. "What is it?"

"Yoruichi is still in the Land of Water," Minato explained. "I sent the injured back first. Yoruichi is still on duty."

"What happened?" Sarutobi asked, his face hardening.

"Report: Jiraiya's team was heavily injured, but Yoruichi handled the Seven Ninja Swordsmen. Only one of our shinobi was injured."

"Wait," Sarutobi's eyes widened in disbelief. "You mean to say the Seven Ninja Swordsmen are gone? Konoha only lost one shinobi?"

Minato nodded. "Yes, Yoruichi handled it. The rest of us were barely able to escape unharmed."

A stunned silence filled the room. The Seven Ninja Swordsmen had been defeated—by Yoruichi alone?
