At a certain field – somewhere in the Belphegor Domain, Underworld

"So, tell me… what do you already know about our trait? I take it you've done some 'research' on [Crack], haven't you?" Roygun asked.

"Yes… I've looked into it a bit," Seir replied, thoughtfully holding his chin. Over the past two months, he had read about [Crack] in books and watched several clips of Roygun using it during Rating Games. As a result, he had gained some insight into their bloodline trait.

"From what I understand, [Crack] allows us to create tears in objects within our range, disrupting their structure and scattering their momentum, rendering them ineffective to a certain extent. These objects could be magical phenomena… or even physical matter itself. Am I right?" he asked.

Roygun nodded in satisfaction. "That's right. That's the basic idea," she confirmed before continuing, "Since you already understand this, there's no need to waste time on unnecessary theory. Let's move straight to practice."

She then added, "According to the lesson plan I've prepared, you'll learn to use [Crack] in three stages, with each stage having two to three phases. The first stage focuses on foundational mastery, where you'll develop Control & Precision."

"Control and precision, huh?" Seir murmured, repeating after Roygun.

Roygun nodded before flicking her finger, summoning a platform from a magic circle. Along with it, she conjured a heap of stones, wooden planks, and hollow glass spheres, each neatly arranged in separate groups.

"The first phase of Stage One is control," she explained. "For anyone mastering their trait, the first objective is to learn how to control their raw demonic power. Fortunately for you, you've been using demonic power quite skillfully since infancy. On top of that, you've also learned to utilize a magician's magic system, so I'd say you already have considerable control over your demonic power. There's no doubt about that."

She then gestured toward the objects on the table. "However, controlling the effect of your trait is a different challenge. [Crack] is an ability with inherently high offensive power, so you need to learn to regulate its range and intensity. To train the 'Control' aspect, your task is to use [Crack] on these inanimate objects, creating small fractures that are just enough to divide them into two pieces rather than shattering them completely as you familiarize yourself with using [Crack]. Once you've mastered that, we'll move on to the second phase."

As she explained, she gestured toward the platform, where a hollow glass sphere was placed. Channeling her Demonic Power, her hand became enveloped in a dark pink aura, and she fired a small energy bullet from her index finger.

Normally, such an energy bullet would cause whatever it struck to either shatter into countless pieces or be completely vaporized. However, the one fired by Roygun did neither upon impact. Instead, it merely struck the hollow glass sphere, making the hollow sphere glow for a moment and then vanishing, seemingly having no effect.

But only a moment later, the sphere split into two halves and fell to either side. It had cracked into two parts rather than fully breaking apart or vaporizing.

"This is the level of control you need to achieve," Roygun stated. "Now then, start with the stones—they're the least delicate."

"Alright… I understand," Seir nodded as he picked up a stone and placed it on the platform. Raising his right hand, he channeled his raw Demonic Power, which enveloped his hand in a dark aura. "Here I go…"

Roygun spoke from the side, "Imagine yourself creating a crack in the Stone Pellet with your Demonic Power. It will happen naturally—there's no need to overthink it. Just visualize it and put it into practice."

"Yeah… I know," Seir nodded, keeping his focus as he pictured the Stone Pellet splitting under his Demonic Power.

Unlike Roygun, who had fired a bullet of Demonic Power at the hollow glass sphere, Seir opted for direct contact, pressing his index finger against the stone while activating his trait, "[Crack]".

Bang!

To his surprise, the moment his finger touched the stone, it exploded into countless fragments.

"Damn!" he yelled, instinctively turning his face away to avoid getting hit by flying debris in the eyes.

"Too much Demonic Power," Roygun advised from the side, her tone calm yet instructive. She then added, "But that was a good first attempt. Now, try again—this time, control the output and its effect."

"Yes…" he nodded, the surprise still evident on his face. However, he quickly picked up another stone pellet, placed it on the platform, and repeated the process—this time activating [Crack] with less Demonic Power than before.

Bang!

Despite his efforts, the stone once again shattered into countless fragments.

"Still too much Demonic Power," Roygun observed before instructing, "Keep going until you get it right."

"Yes," Seir nodded, picking up another stone and repeating the process, this time focusing on exerting more control.

Meanwhile, Roygun left him to his training and made her way to the gazebo, where she took a seat.

Lucia, already waiting there, gracefully presented her with a cup of tea. "Here is your tea, mistress," she said.

Taking a sip of the tea, Roygun asked Lucia, "How is Kuisha Abaddon doing?"

"She is struggling to control her Demonic Power," answered Lucia as she and Roygun glanced in a certain direction where Kuisha–wearing her maid outfit–was working on controlling her Demonic Power.

Lucia continued, "Although that child has awakened [Hole] she has extremely poor control over her Demonic Power… she needs to master that before she does anything… It will probably take her a few months…"

"Hn…" Roygun nodded before continuing, "Well, her mother may have been a Low-Class Devil, but she still carries Moros Abaddon's blood. It's only natural that she possesses impressive reserves of Demonic Power. If nothing hinders her growth, she'll easily attain reserves on par with an Ultimate-Class Devil… and perhaps even surpass that, reaching the Abyss-Class—if she trains for a few decades."

"Training, huh?" Lucia murmured. The concept felt foreign to both her and Roygun, neither of whom had ever trained seriously in their lives. Their growth in strength had come naturally with years or through the heat of battles, gaining experience and other enhancements along the way. Yet here were these children, still so young, dedicating themselves to training to grow stronger.

'Why were they even training?' It made no sense to her.

Roygun chuckled as she watched her little brother struggle to control the damage he inflicted on the stones. "It's Seir's insistence… He's always been a bit strange—constantly wanting to train, learn magic, or master something new," she said before adding, "Well, he's both talented and hardworking. I'm curious to see what he'll accomplish… and what exactly he's striving toward."

"I see… Even I'm starting to find it interesting," Lucia admitted, her curiosity piqued.

"Yeah? Then let's watch over them for a while," Roygun said with a smile, her gaze fixed ahead, anticipation gleaming in her eyes.

Just then, Seir called out to her, waving his hand as he approached. "Sister, the stone… I've cracked it into two parts without making it burst or evaporate, just as you instructed."

Roygun blinked in surprise as she examined the neatly split stone. "That was fast…" However, she didn't dwell too much on his speed—it was only natural given Seir's talent. Instead, she simply nodded and instructed, "Then move on to the wooden planks and do the same with them."

"Got it," Seir replied with a determined nod before running back to continue his practice. 'I'll finish the first phase as quickly as possible… so I can move on to the second phase right away.'

.

.

"At least, that's what I was hoping for… but working with Hollow Glass Sphere is proving to be much more difficult than a stone pellet," Seir murmured with a sigh.

Today's training had ended. While he had successfully cracked the stone pellets and wooden panels early on without much difficulty, he had yet to crack the hollow glass sphere as required. This left him feeling somewhat frustrated.

Unlike the stone pellets and wooden panels, the hollow glass sphere was far too fragile, shattering with the slightest application of Demonic Power, making it much harder for him to control the effect of [Crack].

Roygun responded to his repeated failures and growing frustration with a helpless smile, saying, "Don't worry, it's completely normal not to master something like this in just one day…"

While her words made sense, they did little to ease Seir's disappointment. Letting out a sigh, he could only accept it for now.

Raising his head in confusion, he muttered to himself, "If I'm being honest… I don't quite understand. Why is completely shattering the stone pellets, wooden panels, or glass spheres a bad thing? Doesn't that just mean my trait is working more effectively?" Doubt lingered in his mind.

Zest, who had been on her knees and pleasuring him with her mouth, briefly pulled away with a pop sound. While continuing to stroke him with her hand, she raised her head to look at him and explained, "It's important because objects like stones, wooden panels, or glass spheres don't have a will of their own, nor do they contain any form of energy. But when energy collides with energy, it can trigger reactions—implosions, explosions, or even absorption. Some types of magic are designed to absorb external energy to grow stronger. In those cases, you won't be able to simply shatter the magic unless you know what you are doing; it could lead to an unintended effect. In fact, there's even a possibility that you might not be able to crack them at all… unless you master the ability to apply [Crack] with precision rather than brute force."

"Hmm… is that so?" Seir murmured thoughtfully before nodding to himself. "I see… I understand."

As he spoke, he gently held Zest by the head, guiding her back onto his cock. Repeating himself, he muttered, "Yes… I suppose I understand now."

It's as if Zest were pleasuring his cock. She could be bold, unrestrained, and aggressive, disregarding everything else and even going as far as using her teeth—but would that bring him as much satisfaction as usual? Maybe, though it's hard to tell and the involvement of teeth can even cause injury to the cock. In comparison, her gentle, precise tongue movements, expertly teasing just the right spots, heighten his pleasure and drive him toward an intense desire to climax.

"That's good to hear…" she nodded with a smile, pleased that her explanation had worked. Offering no resistance to his guidance, she took his cock back into her mouth, smoothly bobbing her head to pleasure him until he reached climax.

At the same time, somewhere else in the Castle

Roygun sat in her study, a thoughtful expression on her face as she browsed through several leaflets in her hand. "This should work for the second phase…" she murmured to herself.

As she pondered her thoughts, Maria suddenly appeared in the study and asked, "Mistress, you called for me?"

"Hm? Yes…" Roygun nodded before handing Maria one of the leaflets. "Take a look at this."

"Huh?" Maria murmured in surprise as she took the leaflet and examined it. "It seems to be some kind of machine used by humans…"

Roygun nodded. "I've already given instructions to Sapphire. A dozen of these machines will be delivered to you in a few hours. I want you to modify them—turn them into Magic Tools capable of firing off magical attacks of different elements."

"Eh?" Maria exclaimed, taken aback by the request. With a hesitant expression, she said, "But mistress… modifying a machine like this and turning it into a Magic Tool… how am I supposed to do that?"

"Don't give me that look… We both know you can do it. Isn't it just another Magic Tool?" Roygun said with a shrug.

"Even if you say that… I don't really like working on these kinds of Magic Tools. I prefer to focus on—" Maria started to explain.

Before she could go into too much detail, Roygun waved a dismissive hand. "Yes, yes, I already know. But for now, I need you to set that aside and work on these for me."

"But I have so many custom orders lined up…" Maria complained with a pout.

Roygun's lips twitched. "Just delay them… it's not like your customers will cancel their custom orders."

"That's true… but…" Maria still seemed reluctant. However, realizing she had no choice, she stopped resisting and instead asked, "Will I get a reward for completing this?"

Roygun sighed, shooting her a cold look. "A reward? I haven't even given you your punishment yet, and you're already asking for a reward?"

Instead of looking disappointed at the mention of "punishment," Maria's eyes lit up with excitement. "Does that mean I'm going to be punished?" she asked eagerly.

Roygun nodded and pointed at the leaflet. "This is part of your punishment. I want all of these modified to my specifications within three days."

For a masochist like Maria, who found pleasure in pain and punishment, Roygun knew that traditional methods of spanking, whipping, and delivering pain wouldn't work. The best way to punish a masochist was to deny them both pain and pleasure—forcing them to complete tedious tasks instead. And that was exactly what she was doing.

"This isn't fair…" Maria whined before asking, "Why do you even need them modified? Don't we already have such cannons deployed for the defense of the castle… are we going to use these modified machines instead of cannons or something? That would be a very bad idea…"

Roygun shook her head. "These aren't meant for defense," she clarified. "I plan to use them for Seir's training."

"Ah… I see," Maria murmured, understanding Roygun's intent. She sighed before conceding, "Fine then… if it's for Lord Seirios' training, I suppose I have no choice but to complete the task." Then, her eyes lit up as she added, "Alright, I'll start working on them as soon as Sapphire delivers them."

"Hm…" Roygun nodded, satisfied with Maria's response.

"Well, if there's nothing else, may I take my leave?" Maria asked.

"Yes, you may leave," Roygun affirmed, dismissing her.

A few days later, at a certain field – somewhere in the Belphegor Domain, Underworld

"Alright… here I go," Seir murmured as he activated [Crack] on the hollow glass sphere.

Unlike his previous attempts, the sphere didn't shatter, explode, or implode. Instead, it cracked perfectly—just as he had intended, breaking into two parts.

Pa! Pa! Pa!

"Nicely done," Roygun praised while clapping.

Seir let out a sigh of relief before asking, "Shall we move on to the second phase now?"

"Very well," Roygun nodded, flicking her finger to make the platform—along with piles of stone pellets, wooden panels, and hollow glass spheres—vanish. She then turned her attention to Seir, and said, "For the second phase of stage one… I will first give you a demonstration… Fire some kind of magic at me."

"Alright," Seir responded. With a flick of his fingers, a massive water sphere—five times his size—formed above a magic circle in front of him before surging toward Roygun.

"So, when using [Crack], you first summon raw Demonic Power from within your body and release it," she explained, demonstrating as she spoke. Dark pink Demonic Power flared around her hand, and she extended it toward the incoming water ball. Instantly, a zig-zag line of Demonic power shot from her hand under her control, the zig-zag line collided with the water as a crack appeared at the center of the sphere, causing its structure to break apart. The water split into two separate splashes that went past her from her sides, harmlessly hitting the ground behind her.

Roygun turned to Seir. "Did you catch what I just did?"

"Hm… You disrupted the structure of the water ball using [Crack]," Seir murmured, analyzing the technique.

"I created a [Crack] at the core of the water ball in such a way that when it split, it broke into two separate parts. As a result, its momentum was also divided, causing the splashes to pass by me harmlessly and hit the ground," Roygun clarified.

"Okay…" Seir murmured thoughtfully.

Roygun gestured toward him. "Now, use the same magic attack again on me."

"Hn," Seir nodded and recreated the same magic spell, launching another massive water ball toward her.

As the spell hurtled forward, Roygun began explaining. "You have to be very careful about where and how you create the [Crack]," she said while forming a Crack in the water ball. However, this time, instead of targeting the core, she placed the [Crack] slightly off-center.

Seir observed as the Crack appeared on the Water Ball, but unlike the previous instance, instead of completely breaking apart, only a portion of the water ball separated, while the remaining mass continued on its trajectory toward Roygun.

"If the [Crack] isn't positioned correctly or executed properly, it won't produce the intended result," she continued. Without hesitation, she created another [Crack], this time at the core of the water ball. Instantly, the spell split into two, dispersing its momentum in opposite directions as the water splashed harmlessly onto the ground behind her.

"I get it… Precision is crucial, huh?" Seir said with a nod, fully grasping Roygun's explanation.

"Precisely. With [Crack], you can neutralize most energy- or magic-based attacks, but precision is the key. If you're not accurate in where and how you apply it, the effect won't be as intended," Roygun affirmed.

Seir had no reason to doubt Roygun's words. In the canon, even after relinquishing her [King] piece, she had still been able to use [Crack] with remarkable efficiency—and she was skilled enough to scatter the momentum of the magic attacks of someone as powerful as Typhon. The only reason she lost was due to a lack of sufficient demonic power and, well… because Typhon was too strong for her at that moment.

The fact that she could hold her ground against the King of Monsters from Greek mythology—even if Typhon was merely toying with her—was still an impressive feat in itself. After all, Typhon was powerful enough to be ranked among the top ten strongest beings, whereas Roygun, at the time, was merely an Ultimate Class Devil in terms of strength.

And how had she managed to neutralize Typhon's attacks despite the obvious difference in her strength? Through sheer precision, control… and well experience to pinpoint the core of the magic.

Grasping what she had intended for him to understand, he thought to himself, 'If [Crack] isn't precise, it won't be effective either...'

"Since you understand that… let's begin working on your precision, shall we?" Roygun said as she flicked her hand, summoning a magic circle from which a machine materialized.

Seir eyed the device, his thoughts racing. 'A pitching machine?'

Although he had never used one himself or seen one in person before, he had read about it on the internet in his previous life and had seen a few pictures. Because of that, he instantly recognized the machine and wondered, 'Is she going to make the pitching machine throw baseballs at me or something?'

Unaware of Seir's thoughts, pointing at it, Roygun explained, "Humans call this a 'pitching machine.' However, Maria has modified it to fire off Water Magic, turning it into an 'Aqua Striker,' a Magic tool that pitches Magical Water Spheres."

'Maria modified a pitching machine?' Seir mused. 'So she really can create more than just sex tools… That woman, I will have to bug her a lot and help me learn about the Magic Tools…' He silently thought to himself as Roygun continued describing the repurposed device.

After briefly describing the machine, Roygun began explaining the task, though Seir had already guessed it.

"Your task is to use [Crack] on the Water Spheres this machine pitches at you. Tear them apart just as I demonstrated earlier. Your focus must be on precision—only through that will you be able to break them apart effectively.

I suppose this goes without saying, but if you fail to crack the Water Sphere perfectly, it will crash into you. You can dodge, of course, but whether you manage that is up to you. And yes, if a Water Sphere hits you, it will hurt—just enough to be painful, but not enough to cause any lasting damage."

"I understand," Seir nodded, accepting the challenge.

"Well then… I'm starting this up. You ready, little brother?" Roygun asked, her hand hovering over the start button.

"Yeah…" Seir nodded, summoning his demonic power around his hand.

"Let's go, then," she said, pressing the button. A Magic Circle formed at the mouth of the pitching machine, and a Water Sphere shot toward him.

Although the pitching machine's mouth was only designed for a baseball, the Water Sphere it launched was just as large as the one Seir had created earlier.

Without hesitation or intimidation by the massive size of the Water Sphere, Seir raised his hand and activated his trait.

"[Crack]!"
