Chapter 10: The most dangerous future

In the underworld:

In the underworld: Elara sprinted as fast as her legs could carry here out of the magic masters temple. The magic was dying, she must tell Ozirus immediately, he had to know what to do.

She found him in the cellar, rooting through the food cabinets.

"Ozirus, this is urgent!" Elara shouted as she saw him.

Ozirus sighed. "What is it know?" He demanded.

"The magic master, he informed me... the magic, we must act now, he told me it's dissapearing, and in our family!"

"It's too late." Ozirus said.

He shut his eyes, clearly frustrated to be hearing of this again.

"There must be some sort of spell or remedy to stop this!" Elara shouted.

"No there isn't you fool! This has never happened, millions of years have passed and there is not one documented case of anyone in our family losing their magic!"

Elara felt hopeless, there had to be a way, she didn't want to feel responsible for the human realm falling to ruin.

Suddenly there was a loud crashing sound coming from outside, the sound was so great the whole house shook, a picture falling to the ground, the frame shattering.

"What the hell is all that racket?!" Ozirus snapper impatiently.

Elara and Ozirus walked up to the balcony.

"It can't be." Ozirus mumbled.

His face was blank, terror written across his face.

The sight was one that even with the recent developments, Elara would have never thought she would have to bear witness to.

The gates, blocking the deceased had fallen, and they were storming into the world of the living.
