Bianca leaned closer, her lips just a breath away from Ken's. But suddenly, reality hit her like a lightning bolt. She pulled back quickly, her heart racing.
"I'm sorry... I wasn't thinking," she stammered, her cheeks flushed.
Ken didn't move away. Instead, his voice was calm, his eyes steady. "You don't need to apologize, Bianca. If anyone should apologize, it's me. I might've been too forward."
She shook her head. "You weren't. But… I think it's time we talked. Really talked."
Ken's expression softened, but there was hesitation in his nod.
