Just a Newbie

"Muahahahaha!! This station is surrounded by hundreds… no, thousands of bystanders. If we crank up the volume, the whole town will hear this death melody!"

"You're planning a massacre?!"

Everyone, including Erza, went pale. Oshibana City wasn't just some small town; it had a population of at least 40,000 to 50,000. If they all perished, it would be an unimaginable catastrophe.

Erigor smirked, his lips curling upward. "No. This isn't a massacre. It's purification!"

"We are simply cleaning up those fools who live their lives enjoying their so-called rights, not knowing that there are people who have been revoked of their rights."

He spread his arms dramatically, his face twisted with madness. "In this unfair world, they live in blissful ignorance of their sins. I, the Reaper, will deliver their punishment—death itself!"

Lucy, bolstered by a sense of justice despite her fear, shouted, "Even if you do this, it won't restore those rights! Besides, everything you're doing is wrong! You're insane!"

Erigor sneered. "At this point, I don't care about right or wrong. What I want is power. With power, I can erase the past and rule the future."

"You idiot!" Lucy fumed, her fists trembling.

Suddenly, Uchiha Kitaro's calm voice interrupted, "Are you done monologuing? If you're finished with your cliché villain speech, can we start now? I'd like to get back to studying."

Erza nodded, her voice steady. "Let's do this. Talking won't work with scum like them."

Natsu and Gray readied themselves, their focus sharpened by Erza's command.

"Is it okay if I take them all out?" Kitaro asked casually.

"No objections here," Erza replied coldly.

These guys were planning mass murder; there was no need to hold back.

"Good."

Kitaro's words sparked outrage among the members of Eisenwald.

"This guy thinks he can take us all down? Alone? What a joke!"

"Kill the three men and capture the two women! We'll have some fun with them before selling them off!"

"Yeah, they're cute! Especially the blonde one—she'll fetch a fortune!"

"Disgusting!" Erza's rage ignited as she drew a magical sword, ready to fight.

Kitaro, however, merely clenched his fist.

"Bzzz—!"

A white, vibrating aura began to encase his fist, resonating ominously. It was the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit.

Then, he punched the air.

"———!!!"

Crack! Crack!

The air in front of him fractured like a broken mirror.

BOOM!

A devastating shockwave erupted, obliterating everything in its path.

"AAAHHHH!!"

"WHAT IS THIS?!"

The platform split with a thunderous roar. The ground shattered, leaving deep fissures as if a colossal earthquake had struck. The entire train station shook violently, and all the glass windows exploded simultaneously.

Every member of Eisenwald was flung backward, blood streaming from their noses and ears. The train cars twisted and crumpled, flying off the tracks and smashing into walls, reducing them to rubble.

Team Fairy Tail was left in stunned silence, their jaws hanging open as they tried to process what had just happened.

"It's over. They're done," Kitaro declared calmly, dusting his hands off.

"One… one… one punch?!" Lucy stammered, her hands covering her mouth in shock. "He wiped out an entire guild with one punch?!"

Even Natsu and Gray looked at Kitaro like terrified kittens staring at a monster.

"That was insane," Natsu whispered, his voice trembling.

Gray nodded slowly. "If that had hit us, we'd be… dust."

It all made sense now—back when Kitaro joined Fairy Tail and fought Natsu, he'd barely been trying. He'd hidden the true extent of his power.

Erza, though typically composed, couldn't hide her astonishment. "This… this is… what kind of magic is that?"

"Magic?" Kitaro tilted his head, pretending to think. "You could call it 'quake magic.' It's a power that can trigger airquakes, earthquakes, and even tsunamis. Just something I use often."

"Airquakes, earthquakes, tsunamis?!"

Those simple words carried weight that was hard to fathom.

"That's… terrifying!" Lucy muttered, her face pale.

At that moment, Erigor reappeared. Unlike his comrades, he'd managed to survive—barely. Thanks to his distance and flight ability, he hadn't been hit directly.

He stared at the carnage in disbelief, his body trembling. "This… this can't be real. My entire guild… wiped out!"

Erigor glared at Kitaro, his voice shaking with both fear and rage. "Who the hell are you?!"

Kitaro chuckled lightly, his tone casual. "Me? Oh, I'm just a newbie at Fairy Tail. Been there for a few days."

"Enough!" Erigor screamed, releasing a violent hurricane. "Storm Mail!"

The tornado roared toward Kitaro, powerful enough to tear apart steel.

But Kitaro didn't flinch. He casually raised his fist and swung.

"———!"

Crack! Crack!

BOOM!

The storm shattered under the sheer force of his quake magic, and the residual shockwave surged toward Erigor.

Erigor barely dodged in time, but the ground he'd stood on moments before was obliterated, leaving a massive crater.

The entire train station groaned under the strain, fractures spreading across its structure.

Kitaro glanced at the destruction and shrugged. "Huh. Guess I overdid it."
