Chapter 449 Upgrade Mission Start

The black-clad figures appeared. 

There were five of them, all standing in perfect unison behind Sasuke. 

Seeing them, Nagato furrowed his brow. From their bodies, he could also sense intense chakra fluctuations. 

However, these chakra fluctuations seemed... somewhat strange. 

Because they felt exactly like the chakra fluctuations emanating from Sasuke himself. 

Thinking this, Nagato frowned. 

How could they be the same? If their chakra fluctuations were identical, it would mean they were Sasuke... 

But Sasuke was right in front of him. How could that be...? 

In the next moment, the black-clad figures all removed their hoods.

Wood Release erupted, forming a defensive barrier. The Dust Release collided with the Wood Release, instantly engulfing and disintegrating it into atoms. 

After blocking this attack, Hashirama and the others' expressions grew much more serious. 

A clone... using Dust Release? 

That wasn't necessarily unusual, but... the power of this clone's Dust Release was excessive. 

If it were just a Shadow Clone, its chakra should have weakened significantly by now. 

Yet, this clone's chakra was still as strong as ever. 

Tobirama activated the Flying Thunder God Technique, teleporting several times in quick succession until he was close to the clone. 

He prepared to attack with a Water Release technique. 

But in the next moment, lightning erupted. The clone, with its Shunshin speed, appeared right in front of Tobirama, effortlessly blocking his attack. 

It then grabbed Tobirama and unleashed a surge of black lightning! 

The dark electricity coursed through Tobirama's body, leaving him completely paralyzed. 

Seeing this, Hashirama suddenly realized something. 

"Something's not right. These aren't just ordinary clones!" 

Hiruzen was puzzled. "Then what are they...?" 

"Wood Release cells... That's it! It's the cells!" 

"Sasuke used the properties of Wood Release to separate his blood cells, and during the process of their separation and regeneration, he altered their characteristics." 

"That Dust Release clone is probably made up of countless cells that have mastered and perfected Dust Release!" 

As he spoke, Hashirama's expression grew more serious. 

He hadn't expected Sasuke to use Wood Release cells in such a way.

Only a shinobi with multiple Kekkei Genkai could pull off something like this! 

"In other words, these clones can be considered both clones and the real Sasuke!" 

Hearing this, Hiruzen felt his brain short-circuiting.

But Sasuke's clones, like the Dust Release clone, would likely explode, becoming a moving Dust Release bomb. 

And the Lightning Release clone would probably transform into a massive bolt of lightning. 

Nagato was beginning to understand as well. 

He hadn't expected Sasuke to be capable of this! 

Creating such genuine clones! 

Wait, among these Wood Clone soldiers, there were many more. Could it be that all of them were... 

"Alright! Now I can focus on dealing with you... Nagato!" 

In the next moment, the other four clones also sprang into action... 

They charged straight toward Hashirama and Hiruzen. 

One was a Boil Release clone, possessing immense strength and capable of using the Acid Mist Technique to melt through any Wood Release vines that tried to restrain it.

The other two clones, one a Lava Release clone and the other a Lightning Release clone, were tasked with stalling Tobirama. 

Finally, the Ice Release clone was left to deal with Hiruzen. 

With all the nuisances out of the way, Nagato was left to face Sasuke alone. 

And Sasuke didn't hesitate. 

Lightning crackled as the Kusanagi Sword appeared in Sasuke's hand. A bolt of lightning descended from the sky, striking toward Nagato. 

Nagato dodged in an instant, but Sasuke, transforming into lightning, appeared at his side and slashed at him with the sword. 

Nagato reacted quickly, activating Shinra Tensei. 

The Kusanagi Sword was repelled. 

But before Shinra Tensei could fully dissipate, Sasuke used the Flying Thunder God Technique to appear right in front of Nagato again. 

In an instant, four black rods pierced Nagato's body. 

If this had been earlier, Sasuke wouldn't have had the chance to attack twice in a row. 

But now! 

With his clones stalling the others, Sasuke had Nagato in a one-on-one situation and it was a complete mismatch. 

Even with the Tailed Beast Chakra Cloak, Nagato was no match for Sasuke. 

One punch! 

Boom! 

The power of Boil Release combined with the strength of the Thousand Hands erupted. 

Nagato spat out a mouthful of blood. 

"Damn it..." 

The Tailed Beast's chakra tail lashed out toward Sasuke, but Sasuke's chakra snakes tightly restrained it. 

Nagato tried to attack again, but the black rods disrupted his rhythm. 

And in that moment, Sasuke seized him. 

One hand gripped Nagato's neck, and chakra began to drain from him. 

The Tailed Beast's chakra was being absorbed continuously. 

And as Sasuke absorbed the Tailed Beast's chakra... 

He froze.
