Chapter 553: Susanoo Armor and Beast Armor

As Naruto and Sasuke's voices echoed simultaneously, two colossal wooden figures erupted from the ground beneath them in the blink of an eye.

While both wooden giants were summoned using the Wood Release: Wood Human Technique, distinct differences were apparent between Sasuke's and Naruto's creations. Naruto's giant appeared bulkier, emphasizing brute strength, whereas Sasuke's was more streamlined and balanced. Furthermore, the wooden dragons coiling around their respective giants also varied in appearance. Sasuke's dragon head was uniquely distinguished by the presence of horns, unlike Naruto's.

Although the technique could be subtly altered based on the user's intention, the power of the technique wasn't determined by its aesthetic. Ultimately, its effectiveness hinged on the user's chakra reserves.

The two wooden giants stood side-by-side, and despite appearing slightly smaller than the Rock Ape, the sheer visual impact of Naruto and Sasuke summoning them in unison was breathtaking.

"The Hokage and Lord Sasuke used the same technique!"

"Wood Release! Isn't that a Kekkei Genkai? How can they both possess the same Kekkei Genkai?"

The younger generation of shinobi, though inexperienced in battles of this scale, were not ignorant. Kekkei Genkai were incredibly rare, yet these two not only possessed immense power but also shared the same one. Could they be related?

"Dad!"

Sarada had already learned that whenever something confused her, she could simply ask Itachi.

Itachi chuckled softly. "That would be a long story. Just watch for now!"

"Dad, forget about why the Hokage has a Kekkei Genkai, but why does Uncle Sasuke have it too? Isn't he an Uchiha? How can he possess another Kekkei Genkai?"

Logically, inheriting the Uchiha bloodline shouldn't grant access to another Kekkei Genkai.

"Shinobi with dual Kekkei Genkai aren't unheard of. For example, the current Fourth Tsuchikage, Lord Kurotsuchi, possesses two," Shikadai interjected.

"Shikadai is right, but that's not why Sasuke has two Kekkei Genkai," Itachi said with a smile. "Sasuke learned the other Kekkei Genkai on his own."

"A Kekkei Genkai is essentially the fusion of two different chakra natures, resulting in a new power that transcends the five basic nature transformations."

Learned it on his own? How could someone possibly learn a Kekkei Genkai? What kind of talent would be required to achieve something so extraordinary?

Boom!

Suddenly, a massive explosion rocked the battlefield.

Sasuke's wooden giant took the initiative, swiftly dodging the Rock Ape's attack and delivering a powerful counter-punch, momentarily suppressing Momoshiki's massive construct. Simultaneously, Naruto joined the fray, launching a pincer attack on Momoshiki from the opposite side. The two worked in perfect synchronization, leaving Momoshiki unable to retaliate.

Despite their smaller stature compared to the Rock Ape, the two wooden giants displayed impeccable taijutsu, not only evading the enemy's attacks but also responding with overwhelming force. They alternated their strikes, leaving Momoshiki reeling.

"Damn it! Damn it! How dare you lowly creatures treat me like this! I am an Ōtsutsuki!"

Consumed by rage, Momoshiki unleashed his next attack.

Inu Kujaku!

Using Earth Style, he summoned a monstrous creature with a dragon's head and a serpentine body, which immediately coiled around Naruto's wooden giant. Though Naruto managed to block one of the heads with his giant's wooden dragon, the other two clamped down, immobilizing the massive figure.

On the other side, Sasuke intensified his assault, trying to buy Naruto time to break free. But in the next instant, Momoshiki turned his attention to Sasuke.

Kiji Kujaku!

A burst of flames erupted, forming a colossal firebird that soared through the air, its claws digging deep into the shoulder of Sasuke's wooden giant. The firebird's beak also clamped down on the wooden dragon, momentarily restraining Sasuke.

The two were now being suppressed by Momoshiki, causing panic among the watching shinobi.

Boom!

With a devastating punch from the Rock Ape, both Naruto and Sasuke's wooden giants were sent flying. Momoshiki spread his arms wide and laughed maniacally.

"Hahaha! You two stand no chance against me! This is the power of the Ōtsutsuki! Your resistance is futile!"

Naruto and Sasuke quickly regained control of their wooden giants, bringing them back to their feet.

Sasuke sneered, "This guy seems... a little too pleased with himself."

Naruto nodded. "Yeah, he's acting all high and mighty after landing one lucky hit. Let's teach him a lesson!"

"Let's end this quickly," Sasuke stated, his tone indicating he was done toying around.

At that moment, both Naruto and Sasuke raised their wooden giants' fists towards each other. Before the eyes of countless shinobi, the two giants gently bumped fists, a moment that radiated sheer dominance.

Though their current appearances might belie their true ages, the two clearly shared a profound bond forged through countless battles. Otherwise, such seamless coordination would have been impossible.

In the next instant, Naruto's body blazed with the chakra of the Tailed Beasts, while Sasuke's was enveloped in a swirling purple chakra aura.

"Armored Susanoo!"

A sudden burst of purple light erupted, encasing the wooden giant in a protective Susanoo armor. The wooden dragon was also enhanced, becoming even more menacing and powerful. The wooden giant drew two chakra-infused longswords from its waist.

Meanwhile, Naruto began his transformation.

"Beast Mode: Tailed Beast Transformation!"

The chakra of the Nine-Tails erupted, taking on its fox-like form. A new fusion of gold and purple energy materialized, leaving the watching shinobi in awe.

They could still go further? These two were on another level.

"Let's go, Naruto!"

"Yeah, let's do this, Sasuke!"

In an instant, Sasuke's wooden giant, now clad in the Armored Susanoo, spread its wings and soared into the sky, charging directly towards the firebird. The purple chakra-infused blade sliced through the air, cleanly bisecting the fiery avian. The sheer force of the slash extended to a distant mountain, splitting it in two with surgical precision.

On the other side, Naruto's Beast Mode wooden giant swung its Nine-Tails-like claws, tearing apart the Inu Kujaku monster with ease.

Both then turned their attention to Momoshiki's Rock Ape.

Naruto raised his hand, and the wooden dragon opened its maw, gathering Tailed Beast chakra.

"Wood Dragon Tailed Beast Bomb!"

At the same time, Sasuke's wooden dragon opened its mouth, black flames swirling as they condensed into a purple chakra orb.

"Wood Dragon Amaterasu Bomb!"

The two attacks charged simultaneously, creating a violent storm of energy.

Momoshiki looked left and right, his expression a mask of disbelief.

"No! No! No! You're just lowly creatures! How... how can you possess this level of power...?!"
