Chapter 618: Isshiki's Ambition

"Unite with the other Otsutsuki?"

Kaguya paused, taken aback. "Have other members of the Otsutsuki clan arrived as well?"

Hearing this, Isshiki nodded.

In that instant, a flicker of sheer terror crossed Kaguya's eyes. She had initially schemed to use the 'monster' Isshiki spoke of as a weapon to eliminate him. But if other Otsutsuki were truly present, her situation had become far more precarious. Her dream of breaking free from the clan seemed utterly impossible now. If she didn't fulfill her role as a guardian properly, she knew the others wouldn't treat her kindly.

"Then, Lord Isshiki, what should we do now...?"

"Follow me!" Isshiki commanded, opening a swirling space-time portal.

Kaguya gazed into the dimensional rift and, without a moment's hesitation, stepped through.

Watching her retreating figure, a smile spread across Isshiki's face. The woman had clearly undergone a shift. It seemed the mere mention of other Otsutsuki arriving had been enough to extinguish her rebellious thoughts. This suited his plans perfectly; now, Isshiki could proceed more smoothly with his ultimate evolution.

In Isshiki's grand design, simply devouring all versions of 'himself' wasn't sufficient. He needed to consume other Otsutsuki, harness their unique powers, and transcend all limitations to become the strongest of their kind – to truly reach the state their clan revered above all else.

Godhood!

And now, Isshiki saw the crucial elements of his plan falling into place.

First, the bloodline – represented by Kaguya. Although she was female and technically his guardian, holding a lower status, Kaguya's lineage was exceptionally special within the Otsutsuki clan. As an Otsutsuki Princess, she possessed their most noble bloodline. Regrettably, being female disqualified her from achieving the clan's true bloodline awakening. This was why her combat prowess was inferior to his, even though her inherent bloodline potential surpassed his own high-grade one. Devouring her would grant him the most supreme Otsutsuki bloodline, enhancing his own power and paving the way for his ascension.

Second, energy – represented by Momoshiki. Momoshiki possessed an unparalleled innate talent for manipulating power, making him a standout even among the Otsutsuki. While his direct combat strength might not seem overwhelming, his mastery over chakra was extraordinary. His unique ability, Takamimusubinokami, allowed him to amplify chakra exponentially. Even a sliver of chakra could unleash terrifying force in his hands. Momoshiki embodied energy itself.

And Isshiki himself represented strength. The Otsutsuki clan typically consisted of two types: those with two horns and those with one. The two-horned members usually excelled in energy manipulation or possessed unique Dojutsu (eye techniques). The single-horned members, like Kinshiki and Isshiki, typically demonstrated immense physical power. Isshiki embodied this raw strength. While he did possess a unique Dojutsu, Daikokuten, its might, though seemingly impressive, paled in comparison to truly formidable techniques like Takamimusubinokami.

Bloodline, energy, strength – Isshiki intended to gather these three fundamental forces and forge himself into a fearsome god.

There was also one more crucial element, possessing a special talent yet consistently overlooked: Urashiki. This particular Otsutsuki was, in fact, the one Isshiki valued most. Control over time and space – these were the abilities a true god should command. Were it not for Urashiki's power, Isshiki wouldn't even be present in this era.

They stepped into a strange dimension.

Upon arrival, Kaguya immediately spotted Momoshiki and Kinshiki. Isshiki hadn't lied; other Otsutsuki were indeed here. Two pairs, four members in total! This collective power was easily enough to annihilate any world. And now, their strength was gathered.

Isshiki addressed the group. "To confront that entity, there is one more task we must accomplish!"

Momoshiki glanced sharply at Isshiki. "You intend for the four of us to summon the Ten-Tails together, don't you?"

Hearing this, Kaguya was stunned. Otsutsuki typically operated in pairs to summon the Ten-Tails. The resulting beast's power was directly proportional to the strength of the summoners. A Ten-Tails summoned by two Otsutsuki was already immensely powerful; one summoned by four, including two high-ranking members like Isshiki and Momoshiki, would be on an entirely different scale. Kaguya realized that destroying even a single world likely wouldn't provide enough energy for such a creature to bear a Chakra Fruit.

"Since you've already deduced it, do you have any objections?" Isshiki challenged Momoshiki.

Momoshiki met Isshiki's gaze. "A Ten-Tails summoned by the four of us... one world won't suffice. Even if we defeat that creature eventually, how would we divide the Ten-Tails?" His meaning was clear – he was questioning ownership.

Isshiki chuckled lightly. "You can take that Ten-Tails. I have no need for it. This world already contains two such beasts!"

Two? Momoshiki paused, processing this. It seemed Isshiki had already planned ahead. Merging two existing Ten-Tails would likely yield a creature of considerable power. If so, Isshiki might not necessarily need the one they summoned together. With that consideration, cooperating with Isshiki seemed plausible.

"But if the Ten-Tails is too powerful," Momoshiki continued, voicing another concern, "and one world isn't enough, we'd need another world just to cultivate the Chakra Fruit. All this, merely to deal with some low-level creature..." He trailed off, implying the effort wasn't worth it. "It's too much wasted time!"

"It won't be wasted!" Isshiki interjected sharply. "This world still holds the Tailed Beasts – the Bijuu! If we feed them directly to the Ten-Tails, it can mature and produce the God Tree Fruit much faster."

The Bijuu! Every Otsutsuki present knew what they were. There had been past instances of mismanagement where an Otsutsuki allowed the Ten-Tails' chakra to split, forming the separate Bijuu. However, if those fragments of chakra could be recovered and reunited... there would be no issue.

"The Bijuu, you say?" Momoshiki mused. If Bijuu were available, combining their energy with that of the planet itself might just be enough, even for a Ten-Tails summoned by four Otsutsuki, to bear a Chakra Fruit. The required energy levels should be met.

The thought tempted Momoshiki, a flicker of avarice in his eyes.

This was precisely the reaction Isshiki had aimed for. He was absolutely determined to claim the final Chakra Fruit from their joint summoning. He also knew, however, that simply feeding the Ten-Tails the world's Bijuu and absorbing the planet's energy wouldn't suffice for a beast of this magnitude. It would likely require sacrifices – sacrifices of Otsutsuki clan members.

Fortunately, Kaguya, that woman, had left behind a significant bloodline on this planet, descendants who had even developed quite remarkably. Sacrificing them to the Ten-Tails... that would yield an unprecedentedly powerful Chakra Fruit, the strongest in history.

Once he devoured that fruit, combined with absorbing the essence of Momoshiki, Kaguya, and Urashiki... He, Isshiki, would shatter every conceivable limit and become the first true God among the Otsutsuki.

"Then," Isshiki declared, his voice resonating with resolve, "let us begin!"

Summoning a Ten-Tails was no simple feat. Drawing such a creature forth from realms unknown required immense preparation. The initial setup alone would take more than ten days, and the summoning ritual itself demanded absolute, unwavering concentration. It was an arduous process.

Isshiki calculated inwardly. During the time it took to complete the summoning, the Akatsuki organization should have gathered a considerable number of the Bijuu.

He hoped everything would proceed according to plan.
