My Goals Are Done New Ones Will Open

The king sneered. "Xei, good. You're here. Now, kill them."

Xei stood tall, unyielding. "I will not kill my brother. I will not kill my grandfather. I will not kill my friend."

The king clapped his hands. "They made you remember. Too bad—you're going to die here."

Thousands of soldiers stood before the king. "Kill them," the king ordered.

The soldiers charged forward.

Xei's voice rang out, calm yet chilling. "One moves, one dies. Two moves, two die. You know me. You know I'm not a normal person. I've killed armies before—one against all. If you die here, your families will suffer. So choose wisely. Serve a king who doesn't care about you."

One soldier hesitated. "I have two children, and the mother is sick. I can't die here."

Xei's gaze softened, and he nodded. "Then leave. I won't stop you."

The soldier turned and ran. Then, one by one, the other soldiers followed, leaving the king alone.

"You're a fool, Xei," the king spat. "You think you can stand against me?"

Sai stepped forward, his hands crackling with energy. "I'll kill you," he said, his voice filled with rage.

Sai conjured a flame sword and charged at the king. The king dodged, effortlessly landing a punch that sent Sai crashing to the ground. Blood dripped from Sai's nose as he struggled to rise.

"I forgot," Sai gritted out, "You're a true martial master."

"Too bad for you," the king sneered.

Sai's eyes burned with fury. He focused, summoning an intense flame that engulfed the king's leg, causing him to stagger. In one final, swift motion, Sai decapitated the king with his flame sword.

Amal watched in awe. "We won. I can return to my village."

Sai, his eyes still glowing with the remnants of the flame, turned to the fallen kingdom flag. "One thing," he muttered, "I hate this kingdom's flag."

With a wave of his hand, Sai summoned a flame that only burned the flag. It spread across the earth, consuming it completely.

"Now we can go," Sai said, his voice calm but full of finality.
