Life during the holidays is pleasant, even for Lynn.
In Lynn's opinion, being able to practice alchemy without being interrupted by strangers is a special kind of joy.
After returning to the Rohr Castle, Lynn spent three days and nights replenishing the inventory of the Forbidden Demon Fire, then proceeded to start the next step of his alchemy project.
This time, Lynn was preparing to perform a combination of material alchemy and matrix alchemy. First, he needed to refine an object with high magical adaptability and the capacity to transport and transmit large amounts of magic using several different raw materials. Lynn planned to shape the original embryo into a form of a bracer.
Compared to gloves, an alchemical device shaped like a bracer wouldn't interfere with Lynn's daily activities. He could wear it without having to remove it while eating, unlike gloves.
This time, Lynn was thoroughly prepared for the alchemy. Unlike the rushed crafting of previous alchemical gloves, there were more than ten types of alchemical materials in front of him!
In addition to six different metals and minerals, Lynn also included numerous magical materials from magical creatures.
For example, the fur of an invisible beast could add invisibility to the original embryo, making it more stealthy; powdered unicorn horn could effectively resist some dark magic attacks or curses; the feathers from a phoenix's tail, along with the magical properties of the weapon; and fresh blood from a fire-breathing dragon could increase the heat resistance of the bracer to prevent it from being destroyed by Lynn's flames.
There were many more magical materials that I'll not list here. These magical materials generally aimed to enhance the magical load capacity and protective functions of the alchemical products.
"Aha!"
Lynn waved his left hand lightly, and a ball of fire rose into the air.
His right hand, holding the wand, trembled slightly as he cast a silent levitation charm. Over ten types of materials floating beside him one by one flew toward the magical flame.
The power of the flame and alchemy intertwined, constantly tempering and merging these materials, turning them into a new alchemical product.
As time passed, a piece of metal, glowing with a golden light, appeared in the flames. Although this piece of metal was still metal, it was incredibly flexible and could even stretch like elastic.
This golden, glowing piece of metal was covered with red lines, and subtle magical waves made it vanish from time to time.
At this point, Lynn's alchemy had reached its final stage.
Although Lynn's exposure to material alchemy was a year less than his training in matrix alchemy, his achievements in material alchemy were on par with many French alchemists.
After all, Lynn's material alchemy had been taught by none other than Nicolas Flamel himself!
Under Lynn's control, the flames licked every corner of the magical metal and gently pushed it to continuously complete its transformation.
Soon, this magical piece of metal took the shape of a bracer. It was golden and had red lines running across the surface.
Although it hadn't yet been enchanted with matrix alchemy, the interior of this original bracer embryo naturally contained an alchemical rune. This rune was created by material alchemy and couldn't be etched by an ordinary alchemist.
The content of this alchemical rune was invisibility.
After Lynn used magical power to activate the alchemical rune, the bracer prototype entered an invisible state. This alchemical rune came from the fur of an invisible beast and was naturally born from material alchemy.
After completing the refinement of the bracer prototype, Lynn let out a long sigh and slowly withdrew the flames.
Although the alchemy process was short, refining this bracer prototype had taken three days and nights.
Casting fire spells for three consecutive days without rest consumed a lot of magical energy!
At that moment, Lynn's face was pale. He ate the meal that the house-elf Gale brought him and replenished his magical power with the help of a magical stone.
Without the aid of an alchemical device, Lynn's efficiency when absorbing magical power from the stone was extremely low. For every 1% of magical energy he absorbed, 99% would escape into the air.
If this were in battle, Lynn's magical replenishment rate might not keep up with his consumption rate!
After resting for a long time, Lynn returned to his alchemy work.
After completing the bracer prototype, what Lynn needed to do next was to enchant it with his knowledge of matrix alchemy and carve an alchemical formation onto it.
Another four days passed.
Lynn waved his wand and tapped the bracer. A golden light flashed, and at least a hundred alchemical formations, originally etched on the surface of the bracer, disappeared into the interior of the alchemical bracer.
Just like the alchemical circle of the Mirror of Erised hidden within an object, as a powerful matrix alchemist, Lynn naturally learned the secret method to conceal the alchemical circle.
"Finished!"
Lynn exhaled slowly. Although his magical power was almost depleted, his face was filled with a satisfied smile.
Lynn gently shook off the dust that remained from carving the alchemical circle, then took the bracer as if it were a treasure and strapped it onto his right arm.
Lynn held his wand with his left hand and lightly tapped the bracer on his right arm.
He saw a golden light pass, and a space opened in the center of the bracer, revealing a groove inside. Several alchemical formations were connected to all sides of the groove, and almost every alchemical circle released a golden thread that connected to the groove!
Lynn carefully took out the magical stone and placed the shining red gem into the groove of the bracer. The magical stone fit perfectly!
After inserting the magical stone, the groove automatically closed, and another golden light flashed. The cracks on the bracer silently disappeared, and it looked just like before.
But Lynn, now equipped with the bracer, could feel a growing power flowing into his body. The powerful magic contained within the magical stone could now be controlled by him, as if through his arm!
This didn't surprise Lynn. After all, nearly half of the over a hundred alchemical formations he had engraved were about how to better control the power of alchemical formations!
"From now on, let me call you the Demon God's Authority!"
Lynn nodded with satisfaction. After equipping the magical stone, he felt as though he had obtained the power of a demon, able to create and destroy the world with a single breath!
Of course, this was only an illusion of having gained too much power in a short time.
As for the real situation... Lynn believed he could likely fight against Professor Green without losing!
