Chapter 18: A Large Group of Dungeon Points

A massive army of players was haphazardly grouped up, casually chatting with each other.

These players were not of the same guild but three separate ones. Today, they unite under a common banner: to conquer and defeat the Dungeon of Noxious. Although the players were all from three different factions, the ones that got the most attention were the ones from Alcohol in My Veins.

Countless players flocked to them, asking them countless philosophical questions about the dungeon.

For example, how big were the breasts of the dark elves? Was their ass perky? What did it feel like to be killed by the dark elves? Did any of them have their head crushed by their thighs?

Very serious and intellectual questions.

Of course, not wanting to disappoint their fellow comrades. The players' faces were solemn and intense as if they were on the verge of revealing a truth that could shake the very heavens. All that was missing was a cigar that they could light between their lips.

"Tsk tsk, you should have been there. Those dark elves were true beauties. I even had the luxury of being beaten by three of them."

One of the fallen players proudly declared the way he died, as though it were a badge of honor, drawing countless envious glances from the others.

As men who wouldn't feel jealous when they heard that three beautiful dark elves ganged up on him? Although one had to wonder if it was a fetish.

One of the players, upon hearing this, said he would go out being beaten by 5 of the dark elves. Wanting to one-up the player who had been bragging before. This caused quite a stir, as it soon evolved into a competition that would go out being beaten by the dark elves the most.

The scene was quite lively and friendly as the players although divided by guilds were united by thoughts. All proudly being degenerates.

"What's the total number of people do we have?"

2MuchVodka asked Heavenly Night, who was next to him along with Legionarie. The leaders of the raid today would be the three guild masters. But, before they set out, the three held a vote on who would be the shot caller between the three of them.

They weren't stupid as it would be better to have one person giving out commands, than three people giving out different commands.

In the end, all three of them voted on 2MuchVodka. He was the only one out of the three who had gone into the dungeon. Not only that, 2MuchVodka's nature was pretty good. He wasn't arrogant or selfish, so it was settled pretty easily.

"There's 150 players in total, 50 from each guild." Heavenly Night answered, in her calm voice.

This number 50 was decided by the three of them after a long discussion. They wanted each guild to send an equal number of people as they didn't want one guild to have an advantage over another because one had more players.

2MuchVodka calmly nodded, it went according to the agreement. Of course, the 50 players selected from each of the guilds were the cream of the crop. All being pretty high leveled, having good gear, and a lot of skills.

Skills in this game were pretty easy for players to pick up. Unlike the NPCs who had to train and dedicate themselves to a craft for years, players as long as they were able to get their hands on a skill page.

They could easily learn it just by fulfilling some of its conditions.

For example, some of the rogue skills would require some attributes in agility and a certain level requirement. The list went on for the separate classes, but it depended on getting the skill page.

Skill pages could be bought or they could be found in the wild or from dungeons.

These players had a minimum of three skills at least. Something quite rare for most of the players at this time. But it wasn't surprising, as they were part of the three biggest guilds.

2MuchVodka then asked another question: "What's the number for each class?"

Heavenly Night, responded without a hint of irritation: "We have 60 warriors, 15 guardians, 40 priests, 25 wizards, and 10 rogues."

"Not bad, the number of priests that we have is pretty large. But with this dungeon, having such a number is pretty good as the priests can take turns healing and curing, so they don't run out of mana."

This was the lineup, that they were going to use. It was very stacked, to say the least. The only problem was that they didn't know if the dungeon would allow that many players.

Many players have already found out that some dungeons had a maximum limit for the amount of players that could be in the dungeon at once. It's just that the Dungeon of Noxious was so large, that none of the guilds had an answer to the limit it could hold.

If Hale was here, he could easily the question for them.

It was based on how he felt! If he wanted one hundred players, he would set the limit to one hundred, and if he wanted only one. He would set the limit to one. Everything depended on his mood and confidence!

Of course, he wouldn't be so petty as to set it to one, as it would hurt his reputation and the amount of Dungeon Points he could farm.

Seeing that everything was ready, 2MuchVodka, Heavenly Night, and Legionarie. Calmed the noisy crowd, who were already debating about what the sweat of the dark elves would taste like.

"'Everyone!' 2MuchVodka called out, his voice commanding the attention of the crowd. All eyes turned to him and the other guild masters. Satisfied he had their focus, he began his speech.

"Today marks a historic moment as it is the first time when three guilds unite for the first time for a common goal. To defeat the Dungeon of Noxious! Whose ready to make history and earn some epic loots?!"

"YEAH!!!!"

The crowd enthusiastically cheered, all hyped up for the raid. A few were even broadcasting the event, for other players to tune in. The broadcasts were wildly popular—after all, everyone was eager to witness the dungeon strong enough to unite the strongest guilds in the southern region of the continent.

Unbeknownst to the players. There existed a bug hidden among the viewers.

That bug's name was Hale, who had been watching the streams the entire time.

He had finished building the second floor and was greeted with good news. A large group of players were planning on raiding his dungeon. How could he not be excited? He had used up all his Dungeon Points and was essentially broke.

Why would he not be excited when someone handed him a pillow while he was feeling sleepy?

So with great enthusiasm, he whole-heartedly welcomed the group. Eager for them to enter the dungeon. He calculated that the number of points he could get was about 15000, the amount that he spent to buy the second floor.

He kept a close eye on the streams while finalizing his preparations. Although confident though he was, he knew he couldn't leave anything to chance.

If he ended up losing, it would truly be a disaster.
