"Hatching this egg?" I put my right arm behind my head and started scratching it.

I squatted near the egg, I placed my left hand on the surface softly. The warmth on the outer layer of the egg had spread through my fingertips. The egg shook a little and glimmered a pale white color glow which made my eyes feel numb.

I used both of my hands to crawl back to my mom and Silvia, who was also blinded by this strange bright light. The black red aura was pierced out of my left hand. As if my magic was getting sucked off from the tip of my finger.

Cracks begin to form out of the egg's surface. The sounds of crackling could be heard from it. I smelled the scent of

rotten flesh arising from it. The egg broke in to several pieces in the icy ground. I gulped the cold saliva to my throat.

Bang!

Then a horny head popped out from the dust looming around the room. It was a tiny dark colored beast with beautiful wing like pattern came out of his back and flapping his wings for a muse. This tiny beast liked to lick his tiny fur and his tail.

"Frree!" It cried in a joyful tone. Look at the 3 of us in a curious manner.

"What a cute little infinity beast is this!" Silvia ran from our side and lifted this tniy infinity beast on her little and tender arms.

"Its really adorable." Mom put her arm in her lips and laughed.

"Wow, I never expected to be infinity beast… it's my first time seeing one right now." I said. "I feel this little thing sucked a little bit of my black magic from me."

From that sentence, Silva and Mom stiffened a little.

"Daris, you have awakened the black magic as your talent? What scale are you?" Silvia blinked her small blue eyes.

"I remember correctly it should be high scale…" Her eyes went wide and mouth dropped. She gritted her teeth and said, "I believe in you, daris darkhold."

Mom wasn't shocked about it but she had expected this from the beginning.

She looked at me with worry on her face in opposite being proud of me and made a murmur, "He's exactly like his father…"

I didn't noticed it, my gaze was fixed on the beast in front of me.

The black colored beast was getting annoyed by Silvia and spitted a small tiny flame to her face. Of Course, Silvia didn't have the time to react to its attack and burned a small cheeks!

"He isn't friendly as he looks…" Silvia cried and put the thing down to the floor.

"This thing is from an extinct infinity beast?" My mom asked in doubt.

"Extinct infinity beast?" I perked up my ears.

"Yeah this thing is a child of a extinct infinity because I never seen it before nor read it in the books. Its probably one of the oldest infinity beast found in this entire kingdom!" Mom said.

What was it doing in the frozen temple? Not mention it exploded when I touched its egg surface while sucking off my black magic.

I stood up from the floor using by my both of my hands. I brushed off the layer of egg which was sticking at my clothes edge. I walked over to the little guy, I looked at him in a twisted way. Think looked at me with glaring eyes, he clenched his teeth and stance himself to lean forward like a bull.

He positioned his tiny horns at myself and dashed.

I dodged that attack, I swiftly changed my position from previous stance. The little guy stopped in the middle way, turned around and jumped at me angrily.

I swiftly dodged it again and I pulled this things tail, while he falling into the ground. I squeezed its tail with some force which made the little guy to cry a little, with tears coming from his two eyes. I can see its resentment from above. He spitted another tiny flame to my body. I used my black magic as shield form (which needed only low mana to spend) as a deflector against his attack.

Booh!

The black fire abruptly fallen into thin air. I gently placed my hand on top of his head. I caressed his head with love and affection. To him understand that we're not a threat to him but rather to help him. I wanted to get his trust, So I can use for my purposes while I'm pretending to help him. The little guy look at me with little resentment which was currently subdued a into a small fraction.

[As your mother told, this infinity beast is indeed rare commodity compared to other existing beast out there… if you can tame this little brat, then you'll have a great asset in the future.] Cingar said.

'Hey do you know what kind of beast this things is?' I asked.

[Yeah. I know this thing is one of the strongest infinity beast in the world. If you could become his master then this little thing will help you reach the pinnacle of this world!]

I was shocked by this realization and also happy.

Fortunately we'd found this dude before anyone else. And what this little guy's egg doing here? What happened to his parents before? Why was he trapped in this place before?

This thoughts sprouted my head.

I put that aside of me.

"Son, I think this child is just born right now and hurting him buy pulling his tail. This beast is still immature, you should sympathize him."

In this cruel world there is no place for sympathy other than using it has a ploy to further own cause. Everyone looking out for their causes and competing with others. You can't be weak or naïve like my mom either. You've to fight for yourself and win! Even you don't win it's okay, try going against the heavens is always worth it.

"Ok!" I pretended to smile.

Author's note: I have been inconsistent in writing I don't wishy wash my schedule. But time leaves away from my hand with leaving nothing but memories. I find myself asking questions about life itself… what I'm writing for? Why do I write if I deduct my precious time? What is my benefit? Everyday I feel like I'm asking such questions. I write because I wanted to learn something from these novels and from writing. I don't want to stay ignorant to write. I wanted to learn more and complete more chapters and novels as fast as I could with no compromising any quality for. I thought of becoming a full time author but I haven't earned yet. First I wanted to learn the basics from the beginning.
