New Route {1}

Author's note: I saw the drop in the collection yet again. I can only let go of the complex feelings inside of me right now. I was determined to finish this novel with 40 side stories which I'd planned ahead. I'm now proceeding as per the rough I'd written for this novel. There will be short stories at the end of each volume which might act as filler to the main storyline but it would still be progressing the story. I'm not give up writing like Heavenly Silkworm Potato did, when he was 19 wrote Battle through the heavens. I'm all fired up to write my works again. Readers, don't give up this novel. I'm still continuing this novel.

I grabbed the white colored orb in the center of the room. It was a very light-weight orb which kept giving me the wave of coldness across my arm. It had jade green markings all over it, designed in unusual designs unlike the ornaments found in the rest of the room. It wasn't a jewel or treasure, what was it anyway?

The Cingar's voice came into my ears, [It's a rare elemental orb, found in the Element Temples throughout the whole. This orb contains an essence of elemental magic stored in it and with the help of this, a non-magic user could easily use the elemental magic within it as his own magic. Sanjay, keep this stone safely to yourself, you mightn't the significance of this item now but we'll discover it in the future.]

I believe in cingar, so I'd put the stone inside in the pallet which I discovered before. As it went inside the pallet. Then an earthquake shook the temple and the whole room was in. The Ice in the whole temple started melting away into the drops of water.

The 4 of us were alerted by the sudden trembling of the ground.

"Looks like the whole temple is collapsing into water?!" Mom exclaimed with her eyes horrified. "Let's escape from this place otherwise we will be dead!"

My mom grabbed my arm instantly and I grabbed the tiny arms of Silvia and rushed towards the exit. Everything inside the temple was completely evaporating into water except one thing – the statue of a demon and angel which I saw a few hours ago. It wasn't from the ice and it was a real sculpture made by a godly skilled sculptor. When we were about to reach the exit, I glanced at it for a last time then I thought for a second.

'It is too waste to leave such a masterpiece in here, I can make some money but selling this in an auction or something, what's the trouble in keeping it anyway? Only to lose a few spaces in the pallet?'

I can scan the sculptor to the pallet, and suddenly the whole sculpture is consumed inside the pallet. I got the sculpture in my hands and my mom pulled my hands harder and with Silvia waiting for me. "What are Daris doing in the middle of escaping? Don't you see how we are dying to escape from here? What are you in front of this statue? Let's leave this place."

"Yeah," I muttered. I swiftly ran away with Silvia and Mom who escaped first from the exit of the temple. We reached outside but far worse is happening outside right now. The frozen lake's surface was melting and crumbling under the heat of the sun. It was already morning by now but we didn't realize it. Mom and Silvia were horrified at what to know.

"Let's jump…." My mom said,

"No way, Mom, we can't jump into a situation like this…" I said. "There is a big white whale in that water, if we jumped… we might never make it unless." I paused.

[Heavy Shield Form] I called the spell and changed the magic into the biggest shield compared to the previous shield I used before. It had enough space for just the two of us to stand on temporarily.

"Silvia and mom now!" I threw the biggest shield into the water and the 3 of us jumped at the shield. For a moment we're able to stand still on top of the shield. But the weight of the 4 of us was undeniably great which caused the shield to sink into the water.

[Long shot] I instantly transformed my magic into a long shot, which I previously used in the battle with the two giant frozen knights. I instantly shot at the giant tree that had the coastline, and with the help of the giant tree, my mom and Silvia were able to land safely except for me, as I landed slamming into the tree. It caused some bruises on my body, but nothing great with pain.

I stood up from the ground, and we started exiting the place. We saw the frozen temple and its frozen surface turned into a pile of water that merged with the rest of the lake's water. It was already morning, which caused heat to disperse the collected snow near the lake's surface. The huge frozen temple turned into a pile of stream water that meshed with the current stream of water. Everything which was frozen and icy in this part of this forest turned into normal like before the existence of the frozen temple emerged until some long decades ago.

I sighed dejectedly. The chapter on the frozen temple has finally ended. I looked at my safe mom and Silvia who were walking beside me. Not to mention the infinity beast in the hands of my mom. All of us safe, not getting caught in the mouth of that white whale… I also wonder what happened to that white whale. I don't care about it now, I'm thinking about getting back to Winya Kingdom, where the Xyrus Academy of Magic is.

"Mom, we will be going back home and leaving that place for now," I said, crossing my arms.

My mom got stiffened again. "Ok… for my son, as a mother at least I can do this for you.."

"And Silvia, this is the goodbye from us." I looked at Silvia who was already in a sour expression.

"Hmm… don't leave Daris..."

PS: The next chapter is half POV of a new character and departure. The real cruelty is just the beginning of this novel. I'm planning to switch this combination of Shonen + Warlock of the Magus World + Reverend Insanity. This novel will be a combination of these novels.
