The manager-like man straightened his tie and replied with a smile, "Sir, you may not be aware, but Yasmin is just a summer intern here. She isn't officially one of our sales associates; her usual tasks are handing out flyers for the store."

"Today is actually her last day as a summer intern. The paperwork for her departure has already been completed this morning."

"If her sales need to be credited, it would complicate matters. Additionally, since she's finishing her internship today, she won't be available for follow-up service, which wouldn't be ideal for you."

His words, while appearing reasonable, were clearly an attempt to snatch credit.

Ryan initially didn't want to get involved in such matters. But seeing Yasmin's resigned and helpless expression, his anger started to rise.
