I gracefully bowed as I got up from my seat, hand in hand with Jax. The dinner with the elites of the pack went well to my knowledge. They were quite happy that Jax had finally mated with me. They mostly just talked business, which I didn't understand but Jax told me I didn't need to worry about that.
Queens usually focused on pack activities, at least that was what I was told. That meant that I would have to take on the responsibility of managing the people in the pack. It also helped that I used to be a kitchen volunteer. It felt like such a long time ago since I worked in the kitchen.
"Baby, can you give me a few minutes to talk to our guests." He said as he whispered in my ear. "Wait for me at the balcony." He said and I knew where he wanted me to go to. I nodded and gave him a kiss on his cheek before leaving. I made my way over to the spare room, locking the door behind me. I didn't want anyone to randomly walk into the room.
