I placed Xander in his crib. I wanted to give Jax and I some space to just cuddle and have a bit of moment to ourselves. Xander was also a sleeper. He spent a lot of his time sleeping and I was a bit grateful for it.

I saw how disassociated he was after the trial. I knew a lot of thoughts were running through his mind. He was trying to be happy and spend time with us but I knew he was out of it. I just wanted to do something nice for him.

I crawled into bed beside Jax who was staring at the ceiling. "Baby." I called and he looked down at me. "How are you?"
