The girl in red

Aki had barely taken another step when the huge beast appeared right in front of his eyes. It's baby face started to giggle as a human baby would when it finds it's favorite toy. 

The beast slowly raised it's hand getting ready to slash it's three new toys in half. Aki stared at the nails on the fingers of the beast- so sharp that it could cut a huge tree right in half. Aki froze in his place.

"Slash!"

The head of the beast suddenly flew right out of its neck. It was so quick that Aki couldn't even catch a glimpse. the body of the beast- now on the ground was slowly bleeding out- Aki couldn't hold it in anymore, He ran towards the patch of grass nearby and started to puke. He was too sick to even think about what just happened. Both Henry and Stevens now had fainted at the sight of the huge lifeless beast that lay in front of them.

Aki turned around and jumped when he saw a girl standing directly behind him. "Are you okay?" she asked. Her voice sounded as if it came out of nowhere. she was handling a sword or at least it looked like a sword. It was hard to explain for Aki but it looked like she was carrying some type of magical shadow that was shaped into a sword.

"where did you come from?" - Aki asked hesitantly.

The girl was surprisingly very pretty, Her fluffy cheeks looked as red as a tomato. she wore a red coat and a white shirt underneath and her black formal pants perfectly complimented her attire. Aki felt nervous looking at the pretty eyes that sat on her face.

"I'm Emi, I have been looking for you Aki." said the girl. 

Her reply made him snap out of his admiration.

"what?" He heard her but his remark was almost an automatic response to her reply,

The girl's sword now slowly disappeared into thin air. it almost looked like as if it had glitched into nothingness.

"How are you doing that?" Aki asked in state of shock,

The girl gave him a sympathetic smile.

"Aki, there are things that you need to understand. things that you didn't deserve to go through but you did."- said Emi.

"What are you talking about"- Aki asked feeling a bit confused at what this strange girl was trying to say.

"Aki, I promise I will explain everything, but you have to come with me okay?"- said Emi

"Where would I go with you?"

"There's a completely different world that is attached to this forest, It was created 20 years ago and has always been here. this forest is the link between my world and your world."

Aki asked, confused, "What do you mean, 'a completely different world."

"Aki there are things that you don't understand yet, you have to come with me and see for yourself."

"Why would I come with you?"

"Everyone's life is in danger, even your father's, you have to come with me."

Aki kept staring at Emi feeling a bit lost at words.

"You have to listen to me, Aki"

"Okay"- Aki finally complied.

A smile crept into Emi's face. 

Emi slowly came closer to Aki and held his hand. Her warm touch made Aki feel comfortable midst the cold breeze. 

"come"- Said Emi as she started to lead him on deeper into the woods.

"what about my friends?"- asked Aki feeling a bit worried about leaving the 2 in the forest.

"They will be fine"

Emi lead Aki into a small clear area in the middle of the forest. A huge tree stood still in the middle of the ground, The tree looked almost the same as all the other trees but something was a bit different about it. - Aki thought.

Emi held Aki's hand and started to walk around the tree. slowly the world started to change. everything that surrounded them slowly started to transition into a world that was completely unknown to Aki. 

In a state of surprise Aki asked- "what's happening!?"

Emi smiled at Aki and said- "you'll know."

The World around them changed completely. The forest that they were in, vanished into thin air. they were now surrounded by vast lands that stretched everywhere. Aki couldn't believe his eyes, these were things that he had read only in books. Aki could see the vast lands stretch into the Horizon. The only thing that remained the same was the tree, the tree seemed like it was the only thing that connected this world and the other one.

"We have to reach the city, it's not too far, follow me."- Said Emi as she took Aki by his hand and started to lead him on. Aki had never held hands with a girl, the thought of a pretty girl holding his hand made him blush.

"So how do you know me?"- Asked Aki as he began to wonder about the girl.

"You really did forget, didn't you?"

"Forget what?"

"Never mind" Emi said.

Both of them came across a small town after walking for around 30minutes. The Town seemed normal to Aki, there were a few people in shops selling and buying stuff. The working of a society seemed similar to the human world- thought Aki. There was a what it seemed to look like, -a busy train station. Aki was surprised at the number of people living in this side of the world working and having their own lives.

Emi led Aki into the station and bought two tickets for each of them. The station master looked at Aki in a state of curiosity but stayed away from asking any questions. 

The busy station and all the fuzzing and buzzing of the people kept the atmosphere very hectic for a change.

Both of them came to the waiting platform where others waited for the train to come. The people of this world were very similar to the Humans living in Aki's world, but something kept both of it apart from each other. Aki couldn't figure it out yet, but he had surely felt a certain vibe from each person that he came across. 

"You know," Emi finally decided to say something but paused for a moment.

"I used to be your wife."
