The weekend arrived, and Kain knew exactly how he wanted to spend it—hunting monsters, gathering resources, and pushing his limits even further.

Thorne, though not as enthusiastic about the physical exertion, understood the necessity. He had his own goals to pursue, and there was no better way to sharpen his skills than through real battle.

"We need more materials for enchanting, cores for upgrades, and of course, experience," Kain had said the night before as they prepared their gear.

Thorne sighed, adjusting his satchel of potions. "Just don't get too carried away. I'd rather not have to drag your unconscious body back again."
