He wasn’t sure if he had actually spoken in a more ‘gentle’ tone that usual, but it seemed that Yueul, after hearing how casually he talked with Suhyeon, had decided that he, too, should try being more assertive.
It was exactly as he had thought earlier.
Wooheon didn’t feel like clearing up the misunderstanding, though.
There was no need for him to explain himself.
‘Why should I ‘explain’ anything to this weasel?’
“I don’t know how I ‘sound like’ when I talk to others.”
“You sounded a bit stiff, as always, but it had a gentle touch, and your choice of words were much ‘kinder’ when you were talking to him. You even seemed to joke a little....”
“I don’t know why I should respond to something so pointless, but I honestly don’t know what ‘tone’ you’re referring to. I didn’t notice any difference. Maybe you should record it next time.”
Yueul bit his lip, his narrowed eyes showing his frustration, but Wooheon didn’t bother to look at him.
