Nalia Starts the Problem with Me

Hendra's brown eyes turned to me. I could see for myself how deep and serious his eyes were this time. I gulped, as if I was stunned. I felt a heaviness in my chest.

“Go, when it's time to go. You don't need to worry, I'm here. I heard that your scheduled meeting with a client is just around the corner,” I said, I spoke in a low tone so as not to rush into Hendra's thoughts.

I could see Hendra's eyes clearly showing his unwillingness. Deep enough that I could feel his unwillingness to leave me. I was silent for a long time. Not without reason, I actually still want to be alone with Hendra.

But how could I be selfish, when Hendra's schedule required him to leave immediately. I couldn't possibly tell him to stay here, beside me.

“You don't mind if I go. Of course. But I'm the one who refuses to leave you,” Hendra said, showing his displeasure at this time.
