Managing the Cake Shop

After the food on my plate was finished, I quickly took a glass of water to drink. But before long, mother took my plate to pile into the dirty cutlery.

“Let me wash the cutlery. Your father set the dining table. You just rest in your room, let us take care of this place,” mother said, she advised me to rest.

“Yes, Mom. I'll head to the room now. But I don't mind if I help you here,” I said, I offered help to mother.

“It doesn't matter. I'll just sort this all out with your father,” mother said, she didn't want me to help her.

I nodded. After that I stood up and walked into the room. Arriving in the room, I turned on the light and lay down on the bed.

I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep. Maybe my body is tired from working outside all day. Maybe tomorrow a new day will come that requires more complete energy.

Until the sunlight hit my face, I woke up. My peaceful sleep was disturbed by the warm sting on my skin. I opened my eyes, and realized that morning was come.
