A Woman's Jealousy

I turned to Hendra. I could see the curve on his face turning sour. But I let it be, as if nothing had happened. I chose not to ask Hendra about the change in his facial expression.

Beyond my expectations, Hendra hugged my body tightly. His hands were around my waist, as if afraid if I was far from him. I swallowed, holding back the shock that had just been felt.

“Nalia, why are you standing there tensely?” Hendra said, I heard his voice getting heavier.

“Oh, sir. Finally you're here. I've been waiting for you for almost two hours,” said Nalia, she expressed her concerns.

“I just arrived with my fiancé. We stopped at a food stall first,” Hendra said to Nalia.

Nalia no longer gave a reply. But what was seen before my eyes was the woman walking towards Hendra. I could see the look in her eyes that implied anxiety.
