Twenty minutes later, Clarisse pulled her hand out of the cool water.
" Do you feel better?", he asked worriedly and she nodded,
" Hm".
"Thank goodness", he said and took her back to the room that was now well tidied, the tiles had been mopped and the broken glass had been taken care of, same to Sandra. There was no longer anybody in the room when they came out of the bathroom.
Gently like a baby, he sat her down and gave her pain reliever medicine which she took. He took the cup of water from her when she was done, and noticed she was avoiding his gaze.
" Are you okay?",
" Yes, thank you. you", she replied,
" And I'm sorry, for startling you earlier", he said squatting before her and now their eyes met.
