Chapter 40 (Demon Lord Eli)

"May her soul rest in peace... And I hope she will come back one day."

And Anish stood from the graveyard in front of him and it was the grave, of First Vampire Queen. Although the place was full of greenery and full of nature, it has been an abandoned place from centuries and only Anish visits here.

This was the time when Anish had not even joined the Knights team and he is living from centuries there only.

And yes, he is the First Demon Lord who not even after death got place at afterlife and is living in a human body all alone.

But he lost his all Demon Lord power and his immortality has started fading and finally he had a life span of a human. He wanted to die anyways.

And Anish was sitting on the ground and having his lunch, green grass and a potato taken out from his small farm.

And then Anish continued walking in the abandoned place and suddenly a sparrow sat on his shoulder and Anish smiled.

"Who are you, kid?"

And Anish turned back and a woman was standing behind him and he started sweating because he can't even sense someone coming, his senses have weakened a lot.

But Anish saw a human after centuries and didn't wanted to harm her so he just asked, "Who are you? And from where you came?"

And the woman smiled and said, "You look same like my son... Agni."

"I am not Agni or anything. Just leave already." And Anish started walking away again.

"... Why don't you go to human's place? Or are you living here with your family?" Asked the woman and started walking with Anish.

"I live here alone... With my love's graveyard, so I don't want anyone else to enter here... So please leave me. I request..."

"... You are the first Demon Lord?"

And Anish was shocked that how a mortal human guessed him perfectly.

"... How do you know? Are you a messenger from heaven or a devil from hell?"

And the woman laughed and said, "I know about the love story of First Vampire Queen and first Demon Lord... I have also told to my children."

"... Is it famous?"

"No, only a few knows about it and most of them thinks that it's fake."

And Anish remain silent and continued walking and the woman followed him.

Anish came back to the graveyard and it was looking like a small shelter and the woman was the only one to see First Vampire's graveyard which no one could ever see. It's location was here but it was hidden by the nature itself.

"... Since how many years are you waiting for her?" Asked the woman with being a shocked that all these tales of First Vampire Queen and First Demon Lord is true.

And a tear dropped from Anish's eyes and he said, "... Five thousand seventy four... Years."

And the woman was shocked to hear this.

"Can you... Promise me for a thing?" Asked weeping Anish.

"... Tell me."

"... I will die in some decades... Will you keep this graveyard safe?"

And the woman looked down because she herself is a mortal creature who will die in some decades as well.

"... Then I want a promise from you..."

And Anish turned towards the woman with eyes full of tears.

"Will you go to Human Realm and take out Agni and all the soldiers, warriors and Knights who fight against Demons and Vampires... I want them to live. In exchange, I will keep this place safe and away from everyone until my last breath."

And Anish was ready to leave, because he also wants to end the Vampire and Demon Realm, and turned back towards the woman who will now take care of the place with keeping it as a secret.

"And... Remember, whenever this place will start glowing at the night and everything will start becoming of nature... Vampire Queen will be back here." Said Anish.

"How do you know?"

And Anish smiled and said, "It was her favourite... But we can never see it together. Anyways, I am leaving."

"But wait, what's your name?" Asked the woman and Anish turned back and said, "... Eli, Demon Lord Eli."

"Anish... Why you kept it as a secret?"

And Anish laughed and it was Angel back who knew that he is the first Demon King after reading and finding all the stories which Anish told, but there was nowhere such a story. But she also knows that he can never lie her, if he will she will recognise it but it was all true.

"Did you not got a sleep?" Asked Anish and Angel sat next to him and said, "Nah, so I came here to finally hear about yourself... The First Demon Lord."

"And... How did you get to know about it?"

And Angel smiled and said, "I asked the stories you told about First Demon Lord and First Vampire from Aqua, Blue, Vayu, Den, by everyone... But no one knew about it. And there's no any manuscript of it neither... And I also know that you were not lying at that time... Are you willing to tell me?"

And Anish smiled and told his whole history and Angel becomes the second creature to ever know about the secret of Anish.

"And..."

"And you think I am first Vampire Queen?" Asked Angel with lying on the ground.

"Yes..."

"... How?"

"You just are. I don't want to start fighting and arguing to make you admit that you are."

"If I am... Then why I don't have my memories? That's it, I am not your Vampire Queen."

And Anish smiled and said, "Souls in any body can't remember the memories of any previous life. It can't be accepted by the mind... But Soul itself knows about it... You just need to feel it."

And Angel was confused and said, "... Then made me feel?"

And Anish laughed and said, "If I did that then you will slap me hardly."

And Angel was more confused and sat and said, "What is needed to make me feel?"

And Anish took risk and said the instructions with sweating, "Um... Close your eyes..."

And Angel closed her eyes.
