Seeing the pill they were supposed to make, 90% of the participants sighed in frustration. As tier 2 alchemists, how could they possibly create a tier 3 pill on the spot? 

It was utterly impossible.

Only five of them, all tier 3 alchemists, still had a chance of successfully concocting the pill.

"At least I've secured a spot in the top fifty," one participant muttered.

Even the tier 2 alchemists studied the pill formula with full concentration. Although they knew they couldn't concoct the pill, they hoped to earn some points by completing a few of the steps.

Tan Wei remained calm, showing no signs of distress. His expression was composed, unaffected by the challenge ahead.

Though he had never made a Heart Demon Subduing Pill before, he wasn't fazed by the task.

'Five sets of ingredients is too much. Create the pill on the first try!' Lai Hu said in Tan Wei's mind, increasing the difficulty.
