Feng Fan remained by the door of room 404 like a statue. Eventually, the disciples from the Monkey King Sect, Xiong Jinhai, and Wan Fang returned to the room but left again when it was half an hour to midnight.

Visitors from the Dao Seeking School's territory were given temporary tokens if they chose to leave the Black Turtle Sect's premises. Because Feng Fan didn't want to expose his disguise, he decided not to take a token, unlike the Monkey King Sect members, who each took one from a disciple guarding the exit.

Since the protective barrier wouldn't alert or stop anyone from leaving, he didn't have to worry about that for now. Only when he returned from Green Root City that would be a problem to be solved.
