Chapter 43 {Butterfly Crimson}

Felix laughed and pulled away from the hug, his expression still bright.

"Don't get soft on me now," he teased.

Chozen rolled his eyes but couldn't help the small smile that tugged at the corners of his mouth.

Felix tried to hack through the system each time it was a failure. This time it attacked his computer.

Felix's eyes widened as his computer suddenly attacked him. He quickly pulled away from the screen, just in time to avoid being electrocuted.

"What the hell?" he muttered, staring at the smoking monitor in disbelief.

"It seems Butterfly Crimson isn't simple I also tried it and it did the same thing to me son," Chozen said. Felix sneered at his dad unbelievably he could of warned him!

Felix shot his father an annoyed look.

"You could have warned me, old man," he grumbled.

Chozen chuckled darkly, clearly amused by his son's reaction.

"Where's the fun in that?" he asked, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

Felix rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, clearly still annoyed.

"I swear one day I'm gonna find something to use against you," he muttered under his breath.

Chozen raised an eyebrow at this threat but said nothing. He knew better than to engage in a battle of wits with his son when he was like this.

"What kind of system is this?" Felix asked finally moving on.

Chozen leaned against the wall, his expression serious once again.

"It's a highly secured system belonging to Butterfly Crimson," he said.

"I've been trying to get into it for a day but I can't seem to crack its defenses."

Felix's eyes widened at the mention of Butterfly Crimson. He had heard whispers about her from his hacker friends, but he had never encountered one of her systems before.

"Damn," he said under his breath.

"This is some serious stuff. Are you sure it's possible to hack?

"It's possible."

Felix nodded, a determined look on his face.

"Alright then," he said, rolling up his sleeves.

"I'll give it a shot."

He sat down at his computer once again and began to type away at the keyboard, his fingers flying over the keys.

His determination made him adorable even more.

Chozen watched his son work, his expression softening as he saw the determination in Felix's eyes. Despite everything, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at seeing his son so focused.

"You know," he said gruffly.

"You're not half bad when you put your mind to something."

The triplets were having a blast with Auntie Mercy. They were giggling and squealing with excitement as they played together.

Mercy was laughing along with them, clearly enjoying the opportunity to spend time with her two nieces and nephew siblings.

As the triplets continued to play, Mercy couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over her. She remembered being their age once and having similar moments of carefree having fun.

Mercy looked at each of the triplets in turn, marveling at how quickly they were growing up. They were already so different from each other, yet all equally precious in their own way.

Despite her cold and indifferent demeanor, Isabella's love for her kids was undeniable. She may not show it outwardly, but every decision she made was driven by a fierce desire to protect and care for them.

Mercy had always admired this about her best friend - the way she could be so strong and tough on the outside while still being fiercely protective of those she loved on the inside.

As the triplets continued to play, Mercy couldn't help but notice how much they looked like their mother. They had her eyes, her smile, and even some of her mannerisms.

Mercy chuckled to herself, shaking her head in amazement. It was like looking at three mini versions of Isabella running around and having fun.

later that night Isabella talks to Mercy

"How are my kids?" Isabella asked she was inside a shabby run down hotel she found on the outcoast.

Mercy smiled and put her phone down.

"They're great," she said. "They were having a blast playing together earlier. They've been asking about you, though."

Isabella's expression softened at the mention of her kids.

"Have they?" she asked quietly.

Mercy nodded, a warm smile on her face.

"Yeah," she said. "They miss you. They keep asking when they'll get to see their mommy again."

Isabella felt a pang of guilt in her chest at hearing that. She knew she had been away for a day, but she had to keep them safe.

Isabella sighed and ran a hand through her hair, feeling the weight of guilt on her shoulders.

"I am on a mission I drove the whole day today and I will be working two days and then I will be back I will treat you."

"You better!" Mercy said hiding her excitement but she failed so bad. This will be the first time that Isabella treats her!

Isabella chuckled softly at Mercy's excitement. She could hear the barely contained joy in her friend's voice.

"Don't get too excited now," she teased gently.

"It'll just be some food and maybe a movie or something."

Isabella stared at the 3D map in front of her, studying it intently. She had memorized every street and alleyway in the area, knowing exactly where each target was likely to be.

With a determined look on her face, she grabbed a small black duffel bag from the corner of the room and started filling it with various weapons.

As she stepped outside, Isabella took a deep breath of the cool night air. She felt a sense of satisfaction wash over her, knowing that she had accomplished what she set out to do.

She started walking down the street once again, her steps slightly lighter than before.

As she walked, Isabella's thoughts turned to her kids. She wondered what they were doing right now and if they were missing her.

She tried to push the thought out of her mind for now. She had a mission to complete and she couldn't afford to get distracted.

Isabella walked straight toward the cafe she opened the door and she saw a woman sitting down at the table she was drinking coffee.

"Are you Red Fox?" Isabella asked.

The woman looked up at Isabella with sharp, calculating eyes.

"Who's asking?" she said coolly, setting down her coffee cup.

"Butterfly Crimson," Isabella said coolly she was wearing a face mask and Red Fox eyes widen.

Red Fox's eyes widened in surprise at the mention of Butterfly Crimson.

"You're here," she said quietly, a hint of awe in her voice.

She studied Isabella's face carefully, taking in her appearance.

"You look different," she observed.

Isabella smirked beneath her face mask.

"Yeah, well, I've had a few changes lately," she said cryptically.

She pulled out a chair and sat down across from Red Fox.

Red Fox raised an eyebrow at Isabella's cryptic response.

"Changes?" he echoed, leaning back in his chair.

"What kind of changes?"

He studied her face intently, trying to read any hint or clue about what she was talking about.

"For the mission we are doing I already made a plan you won't tell anyone about me," Isabella said with a cold tone as she took a sip of coffee.

Red Fox's expression darkened slightly at Isabella's cold tone, but he nodded in agreement.

"Of course," he said quietly.

"I won't say a word."

He leaned forward, his eyes locked on hers.

"What do you have planned?"

"The high ranking mission, that our organization got I won't other hacker organizations get it before us."

"Red Fox remember the mission you told me about and how we need to go through The House of Beaufort Dynasty," Isabella said coldly. Red Fox sighed she knew about the mission and they will others who go after this mission as well.
