Isabella chuckled at Red Fox's reaction. She found it amusing how easily she could rile the younger woman up.
"What can I say?" she said with a smirk.
"I have a talent for making things look easy."
"Boss, I have a question," Red Fox said she had short hair and light brown eyes. As she smiled at her boss she was still shocked how was she able to do it.
Isabella raised an eyebrow at Red Fox's question. She could tell that the younger woman was still thinking about what had happened back at Beaufort Technologies.
"What is it?" she asked, her voice calm and composed.
Red Fox took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts before speaking.
"How... how did you do that?" she asked finally. "Back there at Beaufort Technologies - the way you took down those guards, like it was nothing."
Isabella smirked at Red Fox's question. She had been waiting for someone to ask her that.
Isabella turned to face her. She leaned against the tree with her back facing the tree her hands were crossed behind her back.
Red Fox watched as Isabella leaned against the tree, her body language casual but still exuding an air of authority.
She waited patiently for Isabella to answer her question, curiosity written all over her face.
Isabella took a moment to collect her thoughts before speaking.
"Training," she said simply.
"Years and years of training, honing my skills to the point where they become second nature."
She paused for a moment, looking out at the night sky as if lost in thought.
"But… how did you become such a skilled fighter?" Red Fox asked, still looking at Isabella with awe.
"Training nor more questions let's go," Isabella snapped coldly she was tired and looked exhausted.
Red Fox was taken aback by Isabella's sudden coldness. She had seen a glimpse of something different in Butterfly Crimson tonight - an intensity and skill she hadn't expected from someone so young.
But there was no time to dwell on it now. They needed to get out of here fast.
The two women continued their escape through the vents, moving quickly and silently as they made their way towards the exit.
As they reached the exit, Isabella paused for a moment before turning to Red Fox with a serious expression on her face.
"Once we get out of here," she said quietly.
"we can't let anyone know about tonight's mission. Understood? Also don't tell anyone about me if you do you will be kicked out of the organization."
Red Fox nodded quickly, knowing better than to speak out of turn.
"Yes, boss. My lips are sealed."
Isabella nodded in approval, satisfied with Red Fox's response.
"Good," she said quietly.
"Now come on. Let's get out of here."
The two women slipped out of the vent and into the cool night air, disappearing into the shadows as they made their way back to base.
As they walked, Red Fox couldn't help but steal glances at Isabella. She was still trying to process everything that had happened tonight - not just the mission itself but also the unexpected glimpse of power and skill she had witnessed from her boss.
Red Fox knew that there was more to Butterfly Crimson than she had initially thought. And she couldn't help but feel a mix of awe and curiosity towards the enigmatic woman walking beside her.
They finally arrived back at the hotel, the cool night air still lingering in their hair. As they entered the building, Red Fox couldn't help but notice how tired Isabella looked - there were dark circles under her eyes and she was walking with a slight limp.
Red Fox felt guilty for not noticing earlier. Her boss had pushed herself too hard tonight.
As Isabella stepped into her hotel room and closed the door behind her, she felt a sudden wave of exhaustion wash over her.
She kicked off her shoes and unzipped her duffel bag, pulling out some comfortable clothes to change into.
But even as she went through the motions of getting ready for bed, Isabella couldn't shake off that cold feeling inside - like something was missing. She sat down on the edge of her bed and stared at herself in the mirror. Her eyes were cold and empty, like two black holes staring back at her.
Isabella knew what was causing this feeling - it was loneliness. The same loneliness that had been gnawing away at her for years now.
At Beaufort Technologies everything was in chaos and there was a man who wore a red suit he punched the wall as she clenched his jaw. This man was Daniel Beaufort his father is the third son of the House of Beaufort Dynasty Finn Beaufort.
Daniel Beaufort stood in his office, fists clenched as he seethed with anger.
The news of the security breach at Beaufort Technologies had reached him and he was furious. How could this happen? How did someone manage to infiltrate their system so easily?
As he paced back and forth across his office, Daniel's mind raced with thoughts of revenge and retribution against whoever was responsible for this fiasco.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door to Daniel's office. He stopped pacing and turned towards it, his expression still dark and brooding.
"Enter," he barked out, not even waiting for whoever was on the other side to announce themselves.
The door opened and a tall, well-dressed man entered the room. It was James Beaufort, Daniel's older brother.
James took in the sight of Daniel's furious expression and immediately knew something was wrong. He closed the door behind him and walked over to Daniel.
"What's going on?" he asked calmly, folding his arms across his chest. "Beaufort Technologies was hacked and there is a virus code we are unable to break it it's like it's destroying everything and if our oldest cousin finds out…" Daniel said he thought about Chozen he hated him so much! James' eyes widened in surprise at Daniel's words. Beaufort Technologies being hacked was bad news indeed - especially if there was a virus code involved.
"Damn it," he muttered under his breath.
"What do we know about the hacker? Any leads?"
Daniel shook his head, clenching his jaw in frustration.
"Nothing yet," he said tightly.
"Whoever did this knew exactly what they were doing - our security systems didn't even register them."
James frowned, concern etched on his face.
"And if Chozen finds out...?"
Daniel's expression darkened at the mention of their cousin Chozen. He knew exactly how badly things would go if Chozen found out about this.
"He'll tear us apart," he said darkly.
"He's been waiting for an opportunity like this ever since father tried put you up as the head of the family. Not only that Chozen a reckless, ruthless cousin remember how our great great grand mother fall down the stairs and everyone knows is that mute brat his son, he truly cruel he moved to protect his son and his name alone he has trillions of dollars. And bunch of his men."
James nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. He knew all too well about Chozen - the rumors of his ruthlessness and power were legendary.
"We need to keep this quiet," he said quietly.
"If Chozen finds out about this hack, it could mean the end of Beaufort Technologies."
"Oh you don't want my brother to find about what?" A woman asked as she walked over her eyes narrowed.
Both Daniel and James turned to see who had spoken. Standing in the doorway was a tall, slender woman with sharp features and cold eyes.
It was Seraphina Beaufort - their younger cousin she the sister of Chozen and their father is the first son of the House of Beaufort Dynasty also reckless.
Daniel's expression darkened as he saw her standing there, his fists clenching at his sides.
Seraphina smirked at their reaction, clearly enjoying the fact that she had caught them off guard.
"Oh, don't look so surprised to see me," she said mockingly, stepping further into the room.
"I heard there was some trouble going on here at Beaufort Technologies."
