Chapter 57 {Auntie Shelly}

On Thursday morning Isabella slowly opened her eyes she let out a grumpy groan as she let stretch out her hand and she closed her eyes. The sunlight was shining brightly her hair fall down her back as she saw hot coco on her desk. Isabella chuckled these three are too much. Isabella stood up from her bed she closed her eyes once more she sat down on the tub and she started the water. Isabella was unaware that people where following her every move but she also careful with the thing he does.

As the water filled up, Isabella let out a content sigh. She added some bath oil to the water and watched as it bubbled up, filling the room with a pleasant scent.

She slipped out of her pajamas and stepped into the tub, letting out a small moan of pleasure as she sank down into the warm water.

As Isabella settled into the tub, she closed her eyes and let herself relax. She could feel all of her worries and stress melting away as the warm water enveloped her body.

She leaned back against the edge of the tub, feeling completely at peace in this moment of solitude.

Raven walked inside her mother bathroom and she saw her mother who opened her scarlet eyes.

"What's the matter sweetie?"

Raven looked at her mother's reflection in the mirror.

"I was just thinking about you mommy plus there is a phone call here it's from a doctor," Raven said.

Isabella was indifferent and cold. She held out her hand why would the doctors call her she doesn't have the time to deal with this.

Raven could sense her mother's indifference, but she also knew better than to push the issue.

"Okay," she said quietly.

She handed the phone to her mother, then stood back silently waiting for her reaction.

She picked up the phone and answered

"Hello," Isabella said coldly into the phone.

She had no idea why a doctor would be calling her, but she was already in a bad mood so she wasn't expecting good news.

"You little brat! We have been trying to contact you!" A male voice shouted. Isabella knew this voice his dad wow he can be this is low.

Isabella's grip on the phone tightened as she heard her father's voice.

"What do you want?" she asked coldly, already knowing that this was going to be a pointless conversation.

Her father let out a scoff.

"Don't act like you don't know why I'm calling," he said gruffly.

Isabella rolled her eyes. She knew exactly why he was calling, but she wasn't in the mood to play along with whatever game he had planned this time.

"Speak or else I am hanging out old man," Isabella snapped at her dad Richard.

Her father's voice turned cold.

"Watch your tone with me young lady," he snapped back.

Isabella clenched her jaw in frustration. She hated how her father always tried to assert his authority over her, even though she was an adult now.

"Why are you calling?" she asked again, her voice cold and impatient.

She didn't have time for this bullshit right now. She had things to do, and she wasn't going to let her father waste any more of her time.

"It's your Auntie Shelly she is sick," Richard said coldly he was inside his own company office known as the Crystal Lake Company.

Isabella's expression softened slightly at the mention of her aunt.

"Sick? What do you mean she's sick?" she asked, a hint of concern in her voice.

She had always been close with her Aunt Shelly, and the thought of her being ill made her worried.

"She's in the hospital," her father said gruffly.

Isabella felt a pang of guilt. Why hadn't anyone told her sooner?

"What kind of sickness and why the hell did you not tell me?" Isabella asked angry she made a signal to her daughter to leave the bathroom.

Her father's voice was dismissive.

"It's not serious," he said, as if it wasn't a big deal.

"And I didn't tell you because I knew you wouldn't care."

Isabella felt her blood boil at his words. How dare he assume that she didn't care about her own aunt?

"Not serious!?"

"Fine you have heard of the Akdn tumor," Richard said with a groan this was fucking stupid after the party this damn girl disappeared again without a single trace.

"What stage?"

"Well a six."

"So it's not serious this is fucking serious old man!" Isabella shouted she wanted to threw something but she didn't dare do such a thing.

Her father's voice was cold and dismissive.

"It's just cancer," he said, as if it was nothing more than a minor inconvenience.

"She'll be fine."

Isabella felt like screaming. How could he be so nonchalant about something so serious?

"You better hope she lives or else you will deal with me," Isabella hung up the Lexeni phone and she threw it down onto the tub.

Isabella's hands were shaking with anger as she set the phone down. She couldn't believe how heartless her father was being about Aunt Shelly's condition.

She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down, but she couldn't shake off the feeling of helplessness.

Isabella walked inside her room and she grabbed some clean clothes.

"Mommy are you upset?"

"Sorry my dad called me and told me your Great Aunt is sick so I am going to the hospital to take care of this matter, Raven you are the most mature out of your two siblings I just texted your Nanny Grace so she should be here in fifteen minutes," Isabella said as she put earrings as she stood up she wore simple clothes and she sighed.

"Mommy be careful," Raven said sweetly her mother.

Isabella gave her daughter a small smile.

"I will," she promised.

"And you be good for Nanny Grace, okay?"

She knew that Raven was a responsible child, but she still worried about leaving her alone with her twin siblings.

Raven nodded.

"Okay," she said, giving her mother a reassuring smile.

Isabella ruffled Raven's hair affectionately, then quickly made sure she had everything she needed before heading out the door.

"Mommy where are you going?" Chloe asked she was on the couch playing a game while Atticus was doing pushups.

"Yeah mommy where are you going this time?" Atticus asked.

Isabella paused for a moment, trying to decide how much she should tell her children.

"I'm going to the hospital," she said finally.

"Your Great Aunt is sick and I need to go see her."

Chloe's eyes widened with concern. But they also didn't know who there great Auntie Shelly

"Is she gonna be okay?"

Isabella gave her daughter a reassuring smile.

"I hope so," she said honestly.

"The doctors are taking good care of her."

Atticus looked up from his pushups and studied his mother's expression.

"You look upset," he observed astutely.

"My dad is an asshole his planning something but remember I am the Mircale Worker, Divine Healer, Angel of Hope so I am capable of healing her and doing an operation on my auntie."

Chloe, Atticus, and Raven understood that their mother had countless of secret identities and those names she listed are the ones she used in over the years. Isabella was someone who will do anything if she puts her mind into it.
