Chapter 81 {Teddy Bear}

By the end of the fifth day, Isabella had received a total of seven bouquets of flowers and seven packs of her favorite candy.

As she looked at the mountain of gifts in front of her, she felt a mix of confusion and irritation. Who was sending her all this stuff? And why did they insist on giving her flowers when she had made it clear that she preferred candy?

She picked up one of the bouquets and looked at it closely, trying to see if there was any sort of note or clue that could give away who the sender was.

But there was nothing. Just a beautiful arrangement of flowers with no hint as to who had sent them.

Isabella sighed and set the bouquet back down on the table. She ran a hand through her hair in frustration.

"Why do they keep sending me these?" she muttered under her breath.

Just then, there was a knock at the door.

Isabella hesitated for a moment before getting up to answer the door. Who could it be?

As Isabella opened the door, she was surprised to find a young boy standing on her doorstep.

He was holding a small box wrapped in colorful paper and ribbon, and he looked up at her with wide, innocent eyes.

"Are you Miss Isabella?" he asked shyly.

Felix was super cute and Isabella couldn't help but smile at the boy.

"Mmm it's me."

The boy smiled back, revealing a gap-toothed grin.

"This is for you," he said as he held out the box towards her.

Isabella took the box from him, her curiosity piqued.

"Thank you," she said, still smiling at the boy.

"Who is it from?"

The boy shrugged and looked up at her with a small smile.

"I don't know," he said simply.

"The man who gave it to me just told me to give it to a lady named 'Isabella'."

As the boy spoke, Isabella noticed something else in his hand - a small envelope with her name written on it.

Isabella took the envelope from the boy and thanked him again before closing the door.

She looked down at the box in her hands, wondering what could be inside. And then she turned her attention to the envelope.

With trembling hands, she opened it and pulled out a small piece of paper.

As she read the note, her eyes widened in surprise.

The message was short and sweet, simply saying:

"I hope you enjoy the gifts."

There was no name signed at the bottom of the note, just a small heart doodle.

"Little boy can you tell him to not send me anymore gifts?" Isabella said she loved the sweets since she is a sweet tooth But she is also someone who dislike to own people anything

"Mommy who is at the door."

"Nothing kiddos just keep on doing what are you doing," Isabella said.

Isabella wasn't the type to owe anyone favors and she feels like this person is trying to add up favors and that won't happen no matter what.

"I hope I can convince this person that they don't have to keep sending me these gifts," Isabella muttered under her breath as she walked back into the living room where her kids were playing.

She sat down on the couch next to them, still holding onto the note and the box.

The kids cheered and happily started devouring the chocolates.

Isabella laid down on the couch and activated the holographic screen tv. She scrolled through the channels until she found something mindless enough to keep her attention.

But despite trying to distract herself with TV, her mind kept going back to the mystery person who had been sending her gifts.

Who was it and why were they doing this?

As the kids continued to eat their chocolates and watch TV with her, Isabella couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching her.

She glanced around the room, but everything seemed normal. The kids were absorbed in their candy and cartoons.

But still…

Isabella tried to shrug off the feeling and focus on the TV, but it was hard to concentrate when her mind kept wandering back to that small note in her hand.

As the days passed, Isabella found herself becoming more and more reclusive. She rarely left the house anymore, preferring to stay indoors with the kids.

She spent most of her time lounging on the couch or lazing around in bed. The once lively and energetic woman had become quite lazy.

The kids seemed happy enough though - they were always entertained by cartoons or video games while their mother stayed glued to some mindless TV show. Or handling something on the computer.

One day, while Isabella was lounging on the couch and scrolling through her Lexeni phone holographic, she heard a knock at the door.

She groaned and sat up, annoyed by the interruption.

"Who could that be?" she muttered under her breath.

She got up from the couch and walked over to the door, opening it slowly.

Standing on the other side of the door was a delivery person holding a large bouquet of flowers.

The delivery person smiled politely at Isabella.

"Delivery for Miss Isabella," he said, holding up the bouquet.

"Excuse I don't like them goodbye," Isabella snapped and slammed the door on the man face and Isabella and went back to her work.

The man outside the door let out a loud sigh and shook his head.

"Damn it," he muttered under his breath.

"She's even more stubborn than I thought."

He stood there for a moment, contemplating his next move. Then he took out his phone and dialed a number.

"Hello?" a voice answered on the other end of the line.

The man spoke into the phone in a low voice.

"It's me. I just delivered another bouquet to her, but she refused to take it."

There was a pause on the other end of the line before the voice spoke again.

"What do you mean she slammed the door in your face?"

The man on the phone sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"I don't know what else to do," he said. "She's not even opening the door when we knock."

He looked down at the bouquet of flowers he was holding, which were already starting to wilt in his hand.

"I'm not sure she even appreciates the gifts we're sending her," he added quietly.

The voice on the other end of the line was silent for a moment before speaking again.

"Have you tried leaving them on her doorstep?" they asked.

"Maybe she'll take them if we just leave them there and don't knock."

The man thought about it for a moment before nodding.

"Yeah, that could work," he said. "I'll try leaving them on her doorstep next time."

He hung up the phone and looked down at the bouquet in his hand again.

"I hope this works," he muttered to himself.

The next day, the man returned to Isabella's house with another bouquet of flowers.

This time, instead of knocking on the door or ringing the bell, he simply set the bouquet down on her doorstep.

Then he walked away quickly before anyone could see him.

Four days later Isabella was bewildered by how many flowers were on the floor. She took a deep breath as touched the bridge of her noise.

As Isabella looked at the pile of bouquets on her doorstep, she couldn't help but feel a mix of confusion and annoyance.

There were so many flowers - each one more beautiful than the last. And yet, they all sat there untouched.

She crouched down to get a closer look at them, running her fingers over the soft petals.

As she touched the flowers, a wave of conflicting emotions washed over her.

On one hand, she couldn't deny that they were beautiful and smelled heavenly. But on the other hand, she was still bothered by the fact that someone was sending them to her without any explanation.

Who could be doing this? And why were they so insistent on giving her gifts when she had made it clear that she didn't want anything from anyone?

"Miss Isabella this is for you," a delivery man said as he held out a pink teddy bear.

Isabella looked up as the delivery man spoke. She hadn't even noticed him approaching.

She took the pink teddy bear from his hands and held it in her arms. It was soft and cute, with a little heart-shaped tag attached to its ear.

"Who's this from?" she asked curiously.
