Chapter 23: My sardines!

Her cousin was a neat freak and wouldn't simply throw things about unless he was in rage. Jiang Zhaoling already knew of the conspiracy and rumors going on in the Shentu family. Everyone thought that she didn't know as she pretended to be a dumb gecko. She found Shentu Hu's words to be highly suspicious.

Don't tell me he came snooping through here for something? Oh hell, Jiang Zhaoling panicked and reached for the telephone.

When she was halfway through dialing her cousin's number, she paused. Shentu Jing was a busy man and it would be no problem if they discussed it when he gets back. Yes, when he gets back.

Shentu Mingye sped off and arrived in no time at Changchun. He walked into a store and knocked on the table. A man came out to attend to him.

"Little Master Shentu, what a pleasure! This is what you have been looking for," the shopkeeper gave him a can of sardines.

Although it was a can of sardines, the shopkeeper's eyes darted left and right to make sure that no one was watching.

"Thanks. Keep the change," Shentu Mingye gave him a stack of yuan.

"Ah, the Little Master is very generous! I look forward to doing business with you again," the shopkeeper smiled.

"What's that noise?" Shentu Mingye heard something getting smashed.

"Oh, this morning a crazy girl went to the Xu Hotel and started smashing their glass windows and doors. She's really strong, I have to say. That door is so thick," the shopkeeper used his fingers to show his thickness. "Yet she broke them in a few swings. I say she should rob the bank instead," the shopkeeper spoke in a northern accent and chuckled.

"Crazy girl? Must be interesting," Shentu Mingye walked out of the shop and headed to the source of sound.

Sanya casually flipped her hair that strayed onto her face and placed the bar over her shoulders. She looked like a female Hong Kong gangster!

The staff in the hotel quickly called the manager. The manager assigned guards to stop her but they were scared of her. Sanya glanced at the guards and within seconds, she knocked them all to the ground.

The guests didn't dare to leave the hotel. There was a violent woman on a rampage outside.

"Manager! I have heard of your CEO Xu's scandal but I didn't know that it would escalate into this! I will no longer stay here anymore!"

"Yes, I want a refund!"

"My experience is ruined! What's with the Xu family nowadays? How many women did your CEO cheat on?!" All the guests chattered endlessly and furiously.

It was no use trying to calm them down. They were like an angry mob. Wiping his sweat, the manager quickly called Xu Meng.

"Today, I'll teach your Xu family a lesson on little Zhu's behalf!" Sanya was determined to fight with the Xu family. Even if Xu Meng wasn't here, she would damage his reputation and his property.

"Miss, please stop. We don't know you. My boss says he never had any other women other than Miss Bai," the manager pleaded.

"Oh really? Ask him to come out! This old woman will smash his hotel down!" Sanya yelled and pointed the bat at the manager's face. The manager's knees shook and he fell to the ground.

"Please, miss! Please," he begged but it was no use. He was scared shit of the crazy woman in front of him.

Shentu Mingye chuckled as he saw the scene before him. Xu Hotel? The Xu family must have insulted some girl.

If Xu Meng refused to meet her, Sanya could only make him suffer losses in thousands and millions of dollars. This hotel was going down!

Sanya moved her bat a little and the manager sped off inside the hotel to save himself.

"Coward," Sanya snorted and blew a stray hair that crossed her face.

Shentu Mingye could only see her back. Yet her figure looked enchanting from behind. Curvy body and slim legs, yet violent and crazy. She must be a reincarnation of Qi Zhuyin!

"Xu Meng! You cheated and lied! You bastard! How is it that you're fit to become the CEO of the Xu family? You're very incompetent! Look at you! Borrowing money from your wife before you cruelly divorced her! Is that how a man acts!?" Sanya shouted at the top of her lungs, insulting Xu Meng in public.

Everyone gasped and some took out their phones. Sanya pulled a hoodie over her head so that no one could see her face clearly. She let those people passing by record her and post it online.

Since I can't punch that stupid face of yours, I'll get justice for my bestie by using keyboard warriors! Sanya couldn't bear to see Qin Zhuzhu sad. She knew that her best friend was still upset over Xu Meng but was forcing her sadness deep down.

"Miss, I don't think Xu Meng will come," a voice said. Sanya ignored the man behind her.

"Even if he doesn't come, I'll make sure he dies from humiliation!" Sanya laughed maniacally. The moment she stepped into the lobby, the staff quickly ran and hid away.

"Did Xu Meng really cheated on you or are you using this tactic to blackmail him?" The man asked again.

How dare someone say that she's blackmailing him!? It was Xu Meng who hurted her best friend! Then she realized that many people might have misunderstood. They probably think that she's one of Xu Meng's exes.

Sanya turned to face the man, her eyes lazily sweeping over him from head to toe.

"I don't need money. I only need him to kneel down and apologize," Sanya cooly said.

Then she whirled around and swung her bat, Shentu Mingye quickly stepped back. Very unfortunately, the bat hit the can of sardines and it dropped to the ground with a loud thud, its contents spilling out.

Shentu Mingye's eyes widened in horror!

"My sardines!"
