Reply to the Hokage

"Lady Tsunade, what happened?"

"We just felt a powerful Chakra coming from your room."

Fifteen of those Jonins came rushing inside the tent. They were holding Kunai in their hands, and everyone looked ready for a battle.

Ken quickly put away Shukaku Chakra Mode and said.

"It was me. I was trying to prove to Lady Tsunade that I can fight Chunin from Sand Village."

Hearing that, Tsunade immediately nodded and said.

"Ken arrived here early, so he had been convincing me about his idea. But I still want to ask you guys. What do you think of letting him fight 85 Chunin?"

This question stumped Jonin. But when they thought about that horrifying Chakra, they couldn't help but stare at Ken with awe.

Before this, they had some doubts about his strength. After all, it wasn't normal for a Genin to possess the strength of a Jonin.

But now, they felt just how massive his Chakra Reserves were. It was almost Kage Level.

'No wonder he can fight a Jonin despite graduating from the Academy for only ten days.'

'So, this is the Chakra of a Genius. Compared to him, even Kakashi looks like a child.'

'But, do Uchiha have so much Chakra? Shouldn't they be more powerful because of their Sharingan?'

Several different thoughts came to their mind.

At this moment, a certain Jonin, who was looking at Ken, proudly spoke.

"I think it makes sense to send him to fight those Chunin. But just in case, we should let the other Chunin follow him as well."

Looking at that proud face, Tsunade felt speechless. After all, it was normal for a teacher to be proud of their students.

But the problem was that she couldn't say Shinku had no relationship with Ken's strength.

Just the fact that he was willing to make a gap between himself and the Hokage for his student made her realize just how much Shinku loved and admired his student.

"I also believe sending him to fight those Chunin would be great. Right now, we are not even sure when we are gonna get the reinforcement."

"So, if we don't put him there, our Chunin will get overwhelmed pretty quickly. Besides, even if Ken has the fighting power of a Jonin, we don't need him there."

"It takes much more time to take down a Jonin than a Chunin. You should be aware of that, right?"

The man who spoke had a pineapple-shaped hairline and a lazy look in his eyes. Just by these two features, Ken knew this person was from the Nara Clan.

But Ken didn't know who he was.

"But, will that be enough? That's eighty-five Chunin. Even for a platoon of Jonin, that's a hard number to match. If they were Genin, it would be easy, but they are not."

"So, are you sure you can face them on your own? If not, evacuating and joining the Fourth Platoon is better."

Another Jonin asked. He didn't want this platoon to suffer any more casualties since this platoon's main job was to protect Tsunade.

Although most of them weren't told why Tsunade couldn't participate in the battle, they knew that even if they had to sacrifice those Chunin, they would do it to protect Tsunade.

Hence, in his mind, it was better not to take risks and run away unless they had a good chance of beating the enemy.

Hearing his words, Ken frowned. He couldn't believe someone in this platoon was planning to abandon this post.

But when he looked at the faces of other Jonin, except for five people, everyone else had a similar kind of experience.

This was trouble because if these Jonins decided to run away, they couldn't face tomorrow's attack.

When he saw Tsunade's expression, he realized the problem. There was some self-doubt and guilt in her eyes.

This explained why these guys wanted to run away. Their objective wasn't to fight the enemy but rather to keep her safe.

And, since Tsunade couldn't fight properly due to Hemophobia, it was necessary to keep her out of battle all the time.

Unfortunately, Ken's pride wouldn't let that happen. Not to mention, there were too many injured people in this platoon.

If they tried to run away, these people would die, no doubt.

At this moment, Ken understood why Tsunade would leave the village.

Not to mention, she needed protection just to stay in the war. Her existence was the reason why these people gave up on these injured and poisoned patients.

Anybody would feel self-blame after going through such an event. Unless a Kage-level Shinobi arrived to help them, it was necessary to leave this platoon.

But, since Ken was here, he never considered that possibility.

Not because he cared about everyone. No, even if Ken was a good person in his heart, he didn't care about everyone else.

His only thought was to keep his teammates safe. But if he couldn't even protect them from some Chunin, how could he think of protecting them from other threats?

Ken wasn't going to retreat. His pride and his confidence wouldn't let him.

So, while others were considering this possibility, Ken decided to speak up.

"Mr. Jonin, do you know that when we faced those three Chunin, there was a fifty percent chance that Mito or Jenzi could've died?"

Hearing that, the Jonins' attention suddenly shifted towards him, so Ken continued.

"In that case, if I had the mind to retreat, I wouldn't be here. I would become the rebel ninja."

His words immediately froze those Jonin's hearts. Although they knew Ken wasn't the type to hide his thoughts, they still didn't expect he would tell them something like this.

"Yeah, not only that, even when we had fought those Chunin, and if those two had died there or even in the hands of Jonin, I would have trained for a few more years and returned to take revenge for them."

This made their heart sink even more. Tsunade certainly didn't expect Ken to say something like this, but she knew he was saying this for a reason.

She wanted to find this reason, but before she could, Ken decided to give them a clear explanation.

"But we didn't run away. We fought, and somehow, we all survived that battle. All of us were injured, and one of us is still being treated at this moment."

"It was luck. We were extremely lucky that we survived that incident. Imagine if we had left before the battle. Imagine our hatred towards Konoha for using us as bait."

"Now, imagine my potential and growth rate fueled by that hatred against Konoha. In just a few years, I can reach Kage Level. I would do anything to get there."

"Steal, betray, massacre, anything that can make me stronger, I would do it."

"Now, tell me, if one of these injured people survived this incident and went through the same situation as I described, what are the chances that he will come for you, come for me, come for any of us?"

"Do all people have that kind of potential? No, obviously not! But that's where luck factors in. Luck is something that you can never count on. And, if Lady Luck favors that person, you are guaranteed to survive."

"Just like we."

"So, do you still think running away is a good idea?"

Hearing his words, most of the Jonin felt reasonable, especially the one from the Nara clan.

Although there was a one-in-a-million chance of that happening, there was still a chance.

"Lady Tsunade, sorry for the intrusion! An Anbu member wants to talk to Ken-kun." Muta Aburame, who was waiting outside, suddenly walked in and spoke.

"Send him in!" Before Tsunade could reply, Ken spoke.

Tsunade felt speechless by his tone but still nodded at Muta.

A few seconds later, Anbu walked in. He was wearing normal Anbu attire with a crow-shaped mask.

"Uchiha Ken, Hokage has ordered you to return to the village. This is a letter of Order." Anbu passed the letter to Tsunade.

Hearing that, the hearts of those Jonin sank fiercely. After all, Ken could be considered one of their major trump card against the Sand Village.

At this moment, Ken snatched the paper from the hands of Tsunade and tore it apart in front of the Anbu.

Before Anbu could say something, two Magatama appeared in Ken's eyes, and they were instantly reflected in the eyes of the Anbu.

Seeing this, Tsunade couldn't help but gulp.

There were just two Magatama. The visuals couldn't betray her. But the pupil power on those eyes was far stronger than even the usual Three Tomoe Sharingan.

Not only Tsunade, but even other people realized that. After all, they had interacted with Uchiha before.

This wasn't a normal Sharingan. At this moment, they understood why Ken went through such a massive change after awakening Sharingan.

It wasn't Ken who was abnormal. It was his Sharingan.

At this moment, Ken spoke.

"Return to the village and tell Hokage my reply."

"Go fuck yourself!"
