Tanin packed up her office meticulously, ensuring every document was in its rightful place. It had

been a long and stressful day, and her mind felt clouded with a strange heaviness. As she

reached Damian's office, she found it empty. She hesitated at the door, leaning against the

frame for support, before stepping inside. Moments later, Damian walked in, his presence

immediately filling the room with warmth.

Tanin turned to him and wrapped her arms around his waist, pulling him into a tight hug. Damian

stiffened slightly, sensing the tension radiating from her. He placed his hands gently on her

shoulders and leaned back to look into her eyes.

"Tanin, what's wrong?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

"You seem... off. Did something

happen?"

She forced a small smile and shook her head.

"No, Damian. I'm just tired. It's been a long day,

and I really need to go home.

"
