Chapter 32: The Yoshido Cobweb

The players, tired and frustrated, returned to their bench.

"What's this nonsense?" cursed number 5, rubbing his neck. "How the hell are they so fast!"

"We need to regroup," said number 11, pointing to the strategy board. "We need to change our tactics."

"Yeah, but how?" asked number 12, his voice full of doubt.

"We need more movement," suggested number 23, who, despite being disappointed, still remained the team leader. "We have to make them chase us, not the other way around."

The atmosphere on the court was tense as players from both teams prepared for the next part of the game. Meanwhile, the Yoshido team, gathered around Ming You, discussed their actions and prepared for the next round.

"You did a great job," began San Liu, the team manager. "But don't relax. They can get back into the game at any moment."

"We just need to keep going like this," added Ming You, his cold gaze focused on the opponents. "They've already given up."

The Yoshido team nodded enthusiastically, ready for the next quarter, full of confidence in their abilities and strategy.

The timeout signal sounded, and the players returned to the court. The Sindzu team, determined, started with a quick attack. Number 5, with the ball in hand, confidently approached the three-point line but immediately collided with Ming You, who was always on guard. Ming You locked his gaze on his opponent, preparing for the moment he would make a move.

"Come on, come on," whispered Lu Shen, standing on the perimeter. He was ready to help, waiting for when his team would need it.

Number 5 began dribbling, trying to confuse Ming You. He used a dribble through his right leg, then sharply changed direction, going around the defender. But Ming You, like a cold-blooded predator, did not back down. He anticipated every move, and when number 5 tried to make a behind-the-back feint, Ming You instantly intercepted the ball.

"You can't trick me," he said, throwing the ball to Jung Ho, who was already preparing for a counterattack.

Jung Ho, with the ball in hand, quickly moved toward the opponent's basket. He used a dribble through both legs, going around defender number 12. The opponent tried to stop him, but Jung Ho was too fast. He noticed Lu Shen opening up in the corner and instantly made a pass.

Lu Shen, without hesitation, took a shot from the three-point line. The ball flew past, but Haru Lin was there for backup. He instantly tossed the ball into the air, catching it on the rebound, and attempted to shoot again, but defender number 5 finally showed his defensive skills, blocking the shot.

"Are you even in shape? This isn't about sticking your dick in a whore; this is a ball that needs to go in the basket! Though you probably can't even handle the first one," teased Haru Lin as he got back on his feet.

"I can handle it! I was just waiting for my chance," replied Lu Shen, smiling.

Meanwhile, the Sindzu team, regrouping, began to develop their strategy. Number 23, still the team leader, suggested:

"Let's make a quick attack. We need to make them chase us."

With these words, he passed the ball to defender number 5, who, using his speed, dashed to the center of the court. He executed a dribble through his right leg, going around Ming You, who remained cool as always. Ming You wasn't in a hurry; he knew that the Yoshido team's defensive positions were already forming and waited for the moment to intercept.

"What an idiot," he said with a smirk, as if he knew what the opponent was about to do.

Defender number 5, ignoring the threats, sharply changed direction, trying to go left. But at that moment, Jung Ho, who had been watching the situation, seemed to activate. The Yoshido players instantly coordinated, creating a tight circle around their opponent.

"Don't let him breathe!" shouted Lu Shen, encouraging his teammates.

Number 5, realizing he was surrounded, attempted to pass to defender number 12, but Hong Ren, showing indifference, unexpectedly intercepted the ball as if it were easy. He quickly passed it to Jung Ho, who was already waiting in the center.

"Come on, show them how it's done!" shouted Lu Shen.

Jung Ho, not wasting any time, executed a dribble with a burst, going around defender number 23, who was trying to stop him. He used a behind-the-back dribble to confuse the opponent and, seeing that Haru Lin was open again, made a pass.

Haru Lin, positioned at the three-point line, confidently took the shot. But defender number 5 intervened again, blocking the ball. However, Hong Ren, unexpectedly, rushed to the ball and, using his long limbs, intercepted it, instantly passing it to Jung Ho.

"You can't be serious," commented Lu Shen, laughing. "We're not in a whore; we're playing basketball!"

On the bench, manager San Liu heard him and grimaced, muttering to himself, "What's he talking about? What other whores?"

Jung Ho, not wasting time, executed another dribble with a burst and shot the ball into the basket. The crowd erupted in applause, but the Sindzu team wasn't about to give up. Number 23, realizing they needed to act quickly, started dribbling, trying to confuse the defense.

"Come on, guys, don't let them move!" he shouted, rallying his team's spirits.

He used a dribble through both legs, but Ming You, as always, stayed one step ahead. Defender number 10, trying to intercept the ball, unexpectedly collided with Hong Ren, who, strangely, showed activity and confused the opponent, causing him to lose the ball.

"You're playing like you're handling a little dick, not a ball," teased Haru Lin, watching the scene with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile, the Yoshido team, using their speed and coordination, began a counterattack. Jung Ho, receiving the ball from Hong Ren, quickly passed it to Haru Lin, who was already preparing for the next shot.

Haru Lin, confident in his abilities, executed a behind-the-back dribble, going around defender number 23. He noticed Lu Shen opening up at the three-point line and, pondering whether he would make it or not, decided to pass. Lu Shen, in an ideal position, took the shot, but defender number 5 intervened again, blocking the ball.

"Fuck," cursed Haru Lin under his breath.

However, Hong Ren, not wasting time, rushed to the ball that bounced off the rim, and, jumping high, intercepted it. He quickly passed it to Jung Ho, who was already preparing for the decisive shot.

Jung Ho, not wasting time, executed a dribble with a burst, going around defender number 12. He felt the adrenaline surging, and seeing that no one was blocking him, he shot the ball. It went in, and the crowd erupted in applause once more.

The score increased, and the Yoshido team began to take control of the game confidently. But the Sindzu team, realizing time was running out, started to play as if with renewed strength. They began to tightly press the Yoshido players, creating a closed circle around Jung Ho and Lu Shen.

Number 23, realizing they needed to act quickly, started dribbling, trying to confuse the defense. He executed a feint, trying to throw Ming You off, but he, as always, remained calm.

"Even a little kid wouldn't fall for your tricks," Ming You said, staying in place and carefully watching every move of his opponent.

Number 23, unable to find an opportunity to shoot, passed to defender number 5, who, in turn, tried to break through to the basket. But Jung Ho was always on guard. He quickly moved into position and blocked the shot, causing the ball to bounce aside.

In the final attack, Sindzu players began to panic, not understanding how to get around Yoshido's defense. Number 5, receiving the ball, tried to dribble through his left leg, but Hong Ren, showing indifference, unexpectedly intercepted the ball and passed it to Jung Ho.

The referee, watching the last seconds of the game, raised his whistle. Players from both teams froze in anticipation, but the whistle blew, ending the match. The crowd erupted in cheers, and the Yoshido team, with relief and joy, began to celebrate their victory.

"We did it!" shouted Lu Shen, hugging Jung Ho.

"It was a real battle," added Haru Lin, rubbing his hands. "We showed them what we're capable of!"

"Our victory was already predetermined," Ming You reminded them, smiling at his teammates.

The team, still filled with joy, headed toward the stadium exit. Lu Shen, not missing the opportunity to tease his teammates, exclaimed with a smirk, "So, guys, how about we celebrate the victory? Or should we just go and masturbate together?"

Haru Lin rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile. "Masturbate is your specialty, Lu."

Jung Ho chimed in, "Yeah, Lu, you'd better save your 'plans after victory' for the next match."

Ming You, maintaining his composure, just shook his head. He knew there was always room for light-hearted jokes in the team, but right now, he wanted to focus on the next stage.

"We need to analyze the game, identify weaknesses, and prepare for the next opponent," he said, scanning his teammates.

Hong Ren, standing aside, nodded in agreement with the captain. He had always been indifferent to everything except tactics, and his interest in the game was the only thing that mattered to him.

Meanwhile, the bench players, standing in the shadows, watched their team's celebration. Jen Ryu, clenching his fists, couldn't contain his anger.

"They don't even realize how lucky they are!" he exploded, looking at the festive crowd. "Why the hell did that bastard make us come here if he didn't even let us play!? And where the fuck is So Ho!?"

Mei Yu, more composed, tried to calm his friend down. "Don't worry so much, Jen. We'll have our chance. The main thing is that we're still together. And about So Ho… I heard something terrible from his parents…"

The group of bench players immediately turned their gazes to Mei Yu, and Jen Ryu asked anxiously, "What the hell? Explain!"

"I wanted to announce this at school, but it seems I have no choice. To put it briefly, So Ho, along with his sister, has gone missing. And the police are already searching for them."

All the bench players fell into shock. One of the players, recalling the coach's disappearance, suggested, "Could it be somehow related to the disappearance of our coach? It's like they both vanished on the same day."

The bench players fell into even greater shock. Jen Ryu, clenching his fists, said, "This is fucked up. Could it be…?" The cunning face of Ming You and the faces of the thugs flashed through Jen Ryu's mind.
