Chapter 38: Captains Off-Pitch Games

Ming You stood at the edge of the construction site, his cold eyes carefully studying the surrounding area. He finished laying down the plastic sheeting in the basement, the perfect place to hide any traces of his actions. The night was dark, and only rare lights in the windows of neighboring houses illuminated the street. He climbed over the fence, his movements smooth and silent.

He walked towards Suk Chhon's house, his heart beating in unison with the rhythm of anticipation. Every step brought him closer to his goal.

Finally, he reached Suk Chhon's house. It was a new building, surrounded by fresh greenery, but in the stillness of the night it looked gloomy. Ming You noticed a bench nearby and sat down on it, tilting his head back to wait.

Several hours passed, and the night gradually gave way to morning. Ming You sat on the bench, his eyes constantly watching the front door, mentally gloating:

"Hehe, Suk Chhon, you definitely won't stay long."

Time passed slowly. Ming You felt the cold seep into his bones, but it didn't matter. He was ready to wait even until dawn, because he knew that his patience would be rewarded.

Finally, when the first rays of the sun began to break through the clouds, the door of the house opened. Suk Chhon walked out, stretching, yawning and unaware of what awaited him. Ming You felt a sly grin form on his face. He watched as Suk Chhon headed towards school, his thoughts occupied with everyday worries.

"It's time to act," Ming You mentally whispered, getting up from the bench. He took a step forward, his movements smooth and confident.

As Suk Chhon approached the bent fence, Ming You, quickly and accurately, grabbed his neck with a belt and pulled him over the side of the bent fence. Suk Chhon tried to break free, his eyes filled with fear, but it was useless and he soon lost consciousness.

Ming You, without wasting any time, picked him up by the hands and, like a sack of potatoes, carried him to the construction site. He carefully carried him down the stairs to the basement and looked around to see if there was anyone who could interfere with him.

It was dark inside, only rare rays of light made their way through the cracks in the walls. He had already chosen the basement — an ideal place where no one could disturb him. Suk Chhon was not easy, but Ming You carried him without hesitation through an empty room filled with the sounds of dripping water and creaking construction boards.

Ming You put Suk Chhon on the floor, which was covered with plastic, and then carefully tied him to a pole that stood in the corner of the basement. He used strong ropes, wrapping them around the victim's body so that he could not escape when he came to his senses. Suk Chhon was unconscious, his face was pale and his breathing was even. Ming You looked at him, his eyes shining with satisfaction at the upcoming victory.

He began to prepare his tools, taking them out of black garbage bags. Meanwhile, Suk Chhon began to come to his senses a little. The first thing he saw was the corpses of two guards wrapped in plastic, who were opposite him.

"What the hell!?" Suk Chhon tried to get up, but quickly realized that his arms and legs were tied.

But when he looked at Ming You, who was inspecting his kitchen knife, he immediately fell into bewilderment.

"You? Ming You? What the hell is going on here!? Where am I!?" He asked in panic.

Ming You only glanced at him out of the corner of his eye, turning his knife over with the tip down.

"Time is running out. Sorry, but we won't have time to chat, I still have to get to school," Ming You spoke calmly, walking towards Suk Chhon.

"What the hell are you talking about!? Let me out..." Before Suk Chhon could finish speaking, his eyes filled with horror. Ming You sharply stuck the knife into his throat and blood gradually began to pour into the plastic.

Ming You took out a kitchen knife and blood gradually began to splash in all directions. But he lost no time and began to get rid of the bodies.

Ming You pulled the body of the guard towards him and first opened the plastic, then he began to take off his clothes.

"Hmm, I think it will be just right for me." He thought, looking at the guard's uniform.

But the uniform was bloody, so he took only the belt on which there was a walkie-talkie, a baton, and a flashlight. However, the cap was surprisingly clean, so Ming You took it and put it away from the bodies.

When he returned, Ming You took out a cleaver from the trash bag and began to dismember the body of the guard. The blood flowed rather weakly, because the corpse had already lain there for half a day. But the body had not yet decomposed, so the organs were still fresh. When Ming You divided the body into ten parts with a cleaver, he ripped open the guard's stomach and began to finely chop the organs. After that, Ming You began to scoop out the meat and chop it finely. After cutting the meat, he took out a hammer and began to crush bones with teeth using a hammer and a cleaver.

When Ming You finished with the first corpse, or rather with its small remains, he put them in garbage bags. He did the same with the second body of the guard, but the second guard was fatter, so the remains of the second corpse took up one and a half bags more.

Having finished with the guards, Ming You began to cut up Suk Chhon's corpse, mentally mocking him:

"Your body was quite athletic, but alas, your muscles are not able to withstand blows from a cleaver."

He began cutting up the body and putting the remains into garbage bags. He dismembered Suk Chhon's body in the same way as all his other victims.

Ming You began packing the remains of the bodies and gradually rolling up the plastic. When only cleaner polyethylenes remained, Ming You began to change his clothes.

He took off his bloody clothes, put them in his backpack and put on his spare clothes along with his black mask. He also put on the belt that the guard had and a black cap that he also borrowed from the guard.

Ming You then began to cover his tracks. He removes the remaining plastic, puts them in garbage bags and after that Ming You takes an ultraviolet flashlight and begins to shine it on every corner of the basement.

After making sure that everything was clear, Ming You, wearing a black shirt with a security belt and a black mask, walked out of the basement, dragging six heavy garbage bags with him. Ming You dragged six garbage bags onto the street and a total of eighteen bags of "garbage" came out.

In the morning his figure seemed ghostly, but he felt neither fear nor doubt. It was quiet all around, with only occasional sounds coming from a nearby construction site. He stopped for a moment to look around - not a soul, not a sound, only a light wind stirring the debris on the ground.

"I need to be more careful this time. I can't just dump the bags in containers like I did before as I'm without a van today. Therefore, it will take more time and effort. There is no room for mistakes in my plans." - Thought Ming You.

First he decided to look for a ready-made pit.

"Digging is too risky," he thought, making his way through the construction site. His eyes quickly stopped at different places until he noticed a small hole left from previous works. Ming You smiled to himself:

"It looks like the work has already been done for me."

He headed to the nearest warehouse and, after carefully looking around, found several bags of cement.

"Oh, how lazy they are," thought Ming You, dragging the bags to the pit. Each bag weighed a fair amount, but for Ming You it was just a physical exercise.

When he reached the pit, Ming You quickly threw four garbage bags at a time and dumped all eighteen bags of remains into it. He worked quickly and confidently, his movements were honed to the point of automaticity.

"The faster, the better," he whispered to himself, filling the hole with cement. Ming You could not afford to linger - time passed, and with it the risks.

After filling several holes, he noticed a hose that the construction workers had left behind.

"Perfect," he whispered, taking the hose and pointing it towards the holes.

The water flowed, mixing with the cement, and soon he saw the mixture become homogeneous. Ming You worked, not noticing how time flies:

"I should finish it before someone returns to the construction site."

An hour later, when he had completed his work and was about to leave, he suddenly noticed a group of construction workers.

"Very expected," flashed through his thoughts. He quickly made plans in his head as he walked past one of the buildings, trying not to attract attention to himself.

However, one of the builders, noticing him, shouted:

"Hey, you! What are you doing here?"

Ming You quickly realized without losing his composure. He straightened up and answered confidently:

"I'm just checking if everything is okay. I work here as a security guard on the night shift, if anything, and I have to make sure that no one enters the territory."

The builder squinted, clearly not believing his words:

"Security guard? You? How old are you? You look pretty skinny!"

Ming You felt the tension rising, but quickly composed himself:

"Yes, I'm a student. I'm just working part-time to earn some money. I have classes in the morning, so I need to be on time."

The builder shook his head with displeasure and asked:

"So what, are you here alone? Isn't it too dangerous for such a young guy?"

"I know what I'm doing," Ming You answered confidently. "I have experience, and I'm always on the alert. Just doing my job."

The builder looked at him skeptically:

"Okay, do what you want, the main thing is don't interfere or interfere. But if you see someone suspicious, warn them. We don't want any trouble here."

Ming You nodded, because he knew that now he needed to act confidently:

"Of course, don't worry. I just want to finish my shift and go back to university."

The builder looked at him again, but seeing that Ming You looked determined, he simply shrugged.

"Okay, then I'll go. Good luck, guy. I hope you can handle it." Said the builder, and, turning around, headed towards his colleagues.

When he left, Ming You confidently walked towards the exit from the construction site. His steps were confident and purposeful.

However, the builder fell slightly into a stupor:

"Wait, why the hell did he have a night shift if now he went to study?"

"Hey, why are you mumbling there? Let's go haul cement!" His comrade called out to him.

"Okay, to hell with it." The builder reconciled himself and soon went to do his work.

Ming You, meanwhile, reached his home — a rented apartment on the third floor. He quickly walked up the creaky steps and opened his door. Ming You, having taken off his shoes, put the backpack with tools under a wooden lid in the closet, where no one was looking for it.

"Hehe," he chuckled quietly, looking at his reflection in the mirror, holding "his" cap. "We're done with the corpses, which means it's time to change clothes."

Ming You took off his guard uniform and wasted no time in putting on his school uniform — a white short-sleeved shirt and black pants. He looked at himself in the mirror, straightened his collar and, nodding with satisfaction, took the school backpack that stood in the corner. Inside was a basketball uniform — black, with the red and white number 44.

"Time to get ready for the game," he muttered, looking at the form. "Now, Suk Chon, your plans and aspirations will go down the drain, or more precisely, down the drain."

Ming You left the apartment with a feigned smile and headed towards the school.
