CHAPTER 30
Vex held Rizika's wrist that was propped to his chest. Her touch was making him out of control. There was never a woman who made him feel like this before. So much heat. He wanted to conquer her all at once, but he knew that doing so would be dangerous for him and for her.
"I'm human, General." He answered. That was a lie, of course. But she doesn't have to know that. Not yet.
Rizika wanted to laugh at that. Why would he even try to lie about it when it was so freaking obvious that he wasn't a normal human being? Who would survive a gunshot to the heart, lung, and center of the chest without even removing the bullets? And he was standing on his prime health. She may be weak in her current state, but she wasn't dumb. And it was quite insulting that he'd take her for that.
