Chapter 56: Shisui Distinguished Heavenly Gods!

"Since you have matters to discuss, let's step outside and talk in detail—"

"Uchiha's descendant."

Senju Tobirama, the Second Hokage, glanced in a specific direction as a figure slowly emerged.

Dressed in a high-collared clan uniform adorned with a red-and-white fan emblem on the back and a Konoha forehead protector tied at the forehead, the young man had slightly curly hair and a broad nose. This was the same individual who had met Sasuke, Naruto, and others during the Chūnin Exams—Uchiha Shisui!

Shisui performed the traditional ninja ceremony, kneeling in front of the two Hokage, lowering his head. "The deceased ninja, Uchiha Shisui, has come to be reinstated."

The sudden appearance of Shisui, a legendary figure, caught the attention of everyone. At first, Shisui had intended to confront the Third Hokage about Itachi, but his duty to his late brother, to never betray him and to fight alongside him forever, weighed heavily. However, upon encountering the Second Hokage, Shisui was filled with a renewed sense of hope.

It seemed that he wasn't the only one brought back by a mysterious force.

Though there were only a few Uchiha left, preserving the clan's name was still possible.

Despite the Uchiha clan's resentment toward the Second Hokage, who was known for his exclusion of the Uchiha, Shisui's grandfather, Uchiha Kagami, had held great respect for him. Shisui had often heard his father speak of Kagami's admiration for Tobirama's talents, political insight, and his care for his subordinates and students. But today, meeting the Second Hokage in person, Shisui couldn't help but marvel at how young Tobirama appeared.

Shisui's thoughts, however, shifted from admiration to a deep concern about Danzo's involvement in the clan's genocide. He knew that Itachi alone could not have completed such a task without being aided by forces from within Konoha, especially from Danzo, who had likely masterminded the massacre.

Shisui, understanding Itachi's talents, knew that the mission to annihilate the Uchiha wasn't something that could be accomplished by just one person. The entire clan's elders and elites were not to be underestimated. The idea that Konoha, particularly Anbu and its intelligence division, could remain unaware of such a large-scale operation seemed impossible.

At that moment, the Third Hokage and his advisors reacted with shock upon seeing Shisui.

"Shisui, you...?" Sarutobi Hiruzen gasped in disbelief.

Senju Itama, seeing Shisui, instinctively tensed, unaware of his Uchiha origins, preparing himself for a possible confrontation. But Tobirama calmly patted his brother's shoulder.

"Remember what I told you, Itama? There are no Senju or Uchiha here, only Konoha and the Hokage, whose responsibility is to protect everyone."

Shisui felt a heavy weight lift from his chest at Tobirama's words. He bowed gratefully.

"Second Hokage, I am Uchiha Shisui, and my grandfather was your student, Uchiha Kagami. I was fortunate to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan before my death, but... I could not save these eyes."

The Third Hokage sighed heavily.

When Shisui's body had been discovered, both of his Mangekyō Sharingan were gone. It was clear that only a select few, possibly even Danzo himself, could have removed those eyes, and the fact that Shisui trusted the individual who did this sent a chill through Hiruzen's body.

"Ah..." the Third Hokage muttered, his mind racing. Thoughts of Uchiha Sasuke's hatred for Danzo during the Fourth War flashed through his mind. There were still many unanswered questions about the events surrounding the Uchiha massacre.

"Let's speak with the Senju clan first," Tobirama ordered his students. "And remember, do not speak of Shisui's resurrection to anyone—not even to Danzo."

Shisui bowed his head once more, deeply grateful for Tobirama's guidance.

They moved to the Senju clan, where the Third Hokage and the elders were still baffled by the mysterious child accompanying Tobirama.

Mitokado Homura adjusted his glasses and asked, "Tobirama-sensei, could you clarify who this child is?"

The Third Hokage tried to intervene, but Tobirama answered calmly, "This is my younger brother, Senju Itama. He is the fourth son of Senju Butsuma, the leader of the Senju clan."

The room fell silent.

"Wait, what?" Homura asked, his glasses slipping from his nose. "Did I hear that correctly?"

Tobirama sighed deeply, then explained, "Itama died during a mission between the Senju and the Uchiha clans. He was only seven years old when he was killed by five adult Uchiha."

The room grew somber. A seven-year-old child, killed in battle—such a tragic reality was hard for even seasoned warriors to comprehend. Yet, Itama was unfazed by their reactions.

"It's no surprise," he said. "Once you're a ninja, death is not something to fear. We fight for the honor of our family, for the village. We die to protect what we hold dear."

Tobirama, however, felt conflicted. He didn't want his brother's sense of family to outweigh the needs of the village. Konoha was a place where everyone should be united.

"Well then," Tobirama said, breaking the silence, "Itama, please share how you were resurrected."

As the group gathered, they couldn't help but wonder how the young boy standing before them could have been brought back. What strange power was at play in Konoha, and who was behind this mysterious resurrection?
