A whole new challenge came in the face of the hunters, which were called Dungeons.
The separate realm forgotten from the world was created into dungeons, according to the theory people think about it, as many monsters come out of it, if not cleared from time to time.
This was a safe place to hunt for people as the level comparison of the hunters and monsters here was equal, as Lv.5 hunter could even hunt a Lv6 monster or even a little higher.
This also made the world of hunters much wider later, as people to hunt inside of it and their levels started grow as they became stronger.
But the real arose when people started to hit the limit of their tier, became a major problem for them as monsters were getting stronger each day, but humans were at the limit of Lv. 100.
Then one day, a group of seven who were called the Pioneers, gathered to attack a rift, which came straight in front of them before their territories.
Those seven were called the pioneers, as they were the ones who defeated the first field boss and established a land for humans.
The seven of hunters were seen as gods in Ceruleth. The leader of the crew, who was called the Maker of Gods, saw the talent of six random individuals and polished them into gems enough to be called six gods and started to get called God maker.
All six of them are still alive and are controlling top six guilds of the world in global ranking, while alas, the leader or the maker of the group died in the battle of Nexus where they fought against a lord tier beast to win a territory and set a foothold in the land of Nexus by themselves.
He is still regarded as a hero in all people's hearts After which, the biography of the heroes and the leader of the group started to appear about their lifestyles and more things.
Like how they survived and thrived in that harsh surrounding and made the future much brighter for other peoples.
Evan stopped reading, convinced that he had read enough, but his curiosity was piqued by the leader of the Heroes party, who were the first to claim land and set foot on nexus world looking much like itself.
However, he did not quite understand why the leader chose to sacrifice himself in that battle.
He shrugged off his thoughts and looked outside to see many lights still flashing around, but the sky was already dim.
He decided to go outside for dinner at a local restaurant to fill his hungry stomach.
After locking his apartment door, he descended the stairs and headed outside to eat.
He walked in the crowd, which consisted of hunters returning home and office workers either going home or heading to their night shifts.
He reached a local restaurant, went inside, ordered some dishes, and started eating, savoring every bite.
He was enjoying his meal when his eyes fell on a group of people entering the restaurant while talking with each other.
The group consisted of three members: two girls and boy, whom he already knew.
Yes, it was Lucas with Tess and Ilya, who were talking with each other, possibly after their dungeon trip in the public one.
He saw them moving towards him and swiftly covered his face by turning it slightly away from them in the opposite direction.
They found a waiter who brought them to their seats, which were just away from his table, two tables ahead on the left.
Evan didn't care what they did at that moment as he was in another mood, favoring his taste for food when an instant idea struck him.
He thought, why don't I just pluck the weed growing in his yard rather than let it grow a little more? He should uproot the weed from its roots rather than plucking it after some growth.
He was about to move toward him but stopped, thinking that killing a hunter even in this area would be dangerous.
So, he started to build up a plan to go on this path of killing.
He then quickly finished the meal he had ordered and called the waiter walking around to come with the bill.
After a few minutes of waiting, the waiter brought the bill to him, and he paid it with his phone. He then asked for a pen and paper from the waiter.
The waiter, who didn't understand what the customer was going to do with it, brought him a piece of paper big enough to write some words and a pen as per his needs, and then left the table to continue his work.
Evan, who saw the waiter leave, wrote some words with the pen he got, folded the piece of paper, and smirked a little.
He started to wait for an opportunity and saw that Lucas was heading toward the restroom to clean his hands, which were a little dirty or something like that.
Evan took the chance, looked around to see if anybody was watching him, and also went to the restroom.
He went inside the room and found Lucas washing his hands while looking down.
He stood a few paces behind him, observing him as he called his mask to hide his face and status screen.
He was waiting for Lucas to look at him so he could start the plan.
Meanwhile, Lucas, who had just washed his face, was drying it with a handkerchief when he noticed someone standing behind him.
Judging by his clothes and demeanor, he looked like an ordinary person, and Lucas decided to ignore him, as most people would do when encountering a stranger.
He looked the mirror, and his eyes fell on the person standing behind him. Despite appearing normal, something was different.
The person was wearing full mask with only holes for the eyes.
He looked back at him suspiciously. Before he could react, the person threw something at his face. Lucas instinctively raised his hands for protection and activated his Mana shield, but nothing explosive or lethal happened.
He looked back to find no one standing there and was about to dismiss it as a mere illusion when his eyes landed on the object, he thought was a weapon. It was just a folded piece of paper.
He picked it up and started to read it.
After reading it, his face turned pale, and his back was drenched in sweat.
