Testify in the Court
Zi Huiquing reached home and loosened his tie.
"What happened?!" His wife asked.
"Where are the kids?" He asked.
"Both of them are studying." Kang Jiaying answered.
"Sit here!! I want to discuss something with you!!" He grabbed her hands.
"Wait. Let me take the tea." She stood up and bought tea to both of them.
"Thank you." Both of them began to drink tea.
"So tell me. What happened?!"
"Didn't I tell you about a customer was fooled? About a ruby necklace?!"
"Yes. I remember. What happened?!"
"The police arrested the culprit."
"Oh!!"
"It was her son. He was a drug addict!!"
"What!!" Kang Jiaying got shocked.
"Yes!! And all of them involved in that case excluding her son are international criminals."
"Mm..... So you got involved."
"Yes.... Officials are asking me to testify in the court. What do you think?!"
"It seems dangerous. But..."
"Yes. It is...."
"Husband..... It may be dangerous.... But we should think of our future generations. What will happen if kids get addicted to these things? It would be dangerous for not only them but others too...."
"Yes.... I think so too. And I want to testify against them in the court."
"I support you. If they get arrested for their crimes, hopefully, some of these crimes would get stopped."

That night Zi Huiquing got a call.... It was an unknown number.
"Are you going to testify against our boss in the court?!" A deep menacing voice asked.
"Who is this? Who are you people?!" Zi Huiquing turned alert.
"Ha! Ha! Ha! You don't want to be known who we are.... But remember.... Don't testify in the court.... If you do that... What will happen to your family? Your beautiful wife.... Two children... Tsk.... Tsk...."
"No! No! Don't do anything. Please don't harm my family!! I won't... I won't testify in the court!! Please don't hurt them!!" Zi Huiquing pleaded.
"Good!! Good!! If you want your family to be safe..... Don't go there. Understand?!"

The menacing laugh could be heard again and the call hung up.
Zi Huiquing took a deep breath and opened his wife's phone.
Recording saved. It read....
Next day he told his wife what happened last night. Later he gone to police station seeking protection. And he also asked for permission to secretly. The court agreed upon it....
After some days, he secretly testified in the court and the criminals where put into jail on lifetime imprisonment....
The police also warned him to be careful for some more days that some of the lackeys got escaped from their den....

Zi Huiquing came back to the house as always. "Where are the kids?!" He asked.
"Our son is home. Xiao Chen is coming home!!"
"Oh!!"
Suddenly his phone rang... "It's her driver!! Why is he calling?" He took the call.
"Sir!! We are being followed!!" He said.
"What!!" Zi Huiquing stood up..... His teacup fell on the floor and broke into pieces... "BHAAMM!!"
From his phone, he could hear the earth shattering sound of the car getting overturned.... Glass breaking down.... His daughter's desperate screams.....
"XIAO CHEN!!" He screamed....
His phone fell down....
"What happened? Husband?! Tell me!!" Kang Jiaying shook her husband.
"Our daughter... Accident....."
"WHAT!!" Kang Jiaying fell down to the floor. Crying....

The car crashed into some other vehicle and overturned.... Because they were wearing seatbelts. But both of them fell unconscious.... The driver's head was bleeding...
"Did they die?!" Far, from a jeep, some people jumped down. They walked near the car and looked inside.
"What about the driver? Should we kill him?!"
"No! No need!! He is bleeding. He will die eventually...."
"Ha! Ha! Okay!!"
One of them had an iron bat in his hands. He took the iron bat and struck the glass door of the car...
'Shatter!!'
The car window opened. He pulled the unconscious Zi Chenguang from it.
"Zi Huiquing.... You put our boss in jail.... You won't expect what will happen to your daughter!! You will never see her again!!" They laughed hysterically...
He put the girl on his shoulder and walked towards their jeep....

"Sir there is only the driver inside the car!!" One police man said to the other.
"Sir! He is breathing!!" The rescuer said.
"Immediately pull him out of the car!!"
The rescuers pulled out the driver from the car and put him in the stretcher...
"Look around. Try to find the kid!!" His head instructed.
A group of policeman immediately began to search surrounding area.
"Mr. Zi. Don't get tensed.... We would definitely find your daughter!!" One of them assured Zi Huiquing who was sitting in the police car.... He looked shattered.
"Sir!! Please find my daughter!! Please!!" He cried....
He looked at the ambulance moving with the car's driver inside...

"What!! Zi Chenguang is missing?!" Zan Tengfei asked.
He was talking with Kang Jiaying.
"Yes.... Mr Zan. The police wanted to ask her some questions. Could you please ask her?!" Kang Jiaying pleaded.
"Don't worry Mrs Zi. I will ask her!!" He consoled and called his daughter.
"Yingying!! Did you see anything suspicious today in school or outside the school?!" He asked.

Should I tell her? But I should tell her. If she could remember something, it would be a great help. "Yingying!! What I am going to say is something serious. Please hear carefully. Okay?!" He made his daughter sit on his lap.
