Chapter 58: My Unhinged Words

The first thing I see as soon as I open my eyes are the black orbs of Theron staring down at me as if he is inspecting something. Once he notices I'm awake, a relieved sigh escapes his lips and he moves back, giving me space to look around the room and even sit up.

"Finally, you're awake." He says as if to make sure and I nod, sitting up and taking in the room in panic.

After careful inspection, I relax further into the bed and release a shaky breath knowing in now in the same confines of my room. I turn to Theron's direction. He is wearing an unreadable expression on his face and I can't quite tell what exactly he is thinking staring at me like that.

"I'll get you some water." He says and beckons in one of the maids standing nearby that I hadn't noticed, and gestured for them to prepare a glass of water for me.
