Chapter 73

The melodic chirping of birds fills my ears as I continue to dream about the strong, muscular arms hugginh me tightly from behind, unwilling to let me go. The sweet scent of chamomile waft into my nose as I stirr in my sleep and refuse to wake up, moving deeper into the warm body that holds me.

A dog bark so loudly, making me jump from my sleep as my elbow collides with a figure as I try to move my legs up from the unseen creature licking up my toes when the figure groan loudly. I pause mid air and stare at the wall, trying to take in the strange room. This is not Ava's house. I scream as I turn to the left to see where the groan had come from. A head full of silver hair moan and groggily sit up to look at me as I continue to screech.

"Who the hell are you?!" I question, moving away to the edge of the bed.
