Selena's back was pressed firmly against the cold wall, her heart pounding so loudly she was sure Alex could hear it.
His hand reached for her cheek, fingers brushing against her skin with a gentleness that contradicted the intensity in his eyes. She shivered at his touch, her breath hitched, but she refused to break eye contact.
Was this still part of the plan?
She wanted to ask again, but the words refused to come out. Instead, she was trapped in the moment, in the tension between them. Alex's deep voice sent shivers down her spine as he murmured, "Would you say this was part of the plan?"
Before she could answer, he leaned in.
Her breath hitched, her entire body freezing as his lips met hers.
The kiss started slow, teasingly gentle as if he was giving her time to pull away. But she didn't. She let him kiss her, let herself sink into the warmth of it, her hands uncertainly resting against his chest.
