Have you ever experienced that feeling where you ruined your idols life? Your stupidity and ignorance being the sole cause? That's a feeling Cecelia is certain is unique only to herself. All over the news, all over the internet for a good few weeks all netizens—all anyone, could talk about with the capture and death of the villain Xenith. Netizens, even more thorough and dedicated than paid detectives delving into his life and past. It was found out his real name wasn't Xenith at all. People dug into old yearbook photos from elementary and high school, a dorky looking boy with clear framed glasses and short curled blonde hair reaching just below his ears. He looked soft, shy and innocent, somewhat like a bunny, a pure look. The name underneath, Frazier Kai. Bold black letters underneath the face that shared all the qualities of Xenith, all but his name. He looked like the last guy you'd ever expect to have his name become synonymous with violence, death and corruption. You'd never notice that fact in the face of the grown up Xenith, because from the moment we first encountered that face it was already stained red with blood, unlike the innocent face of the boy in the photos viral all over. People wonder why he changed his name, some assumed it was to get away from prior crimes, some students who claimed to go to school With Xenith claimed he'd always been particular about making certain he was called Xenith. If someone called him Frazier he wouldn't respond, he'd react as if that name had absolutely no relation to himself. In some cases he'd even lash out, he'd yell, scream but ironically he'd never ever get violent. Which left those who believed in those stories wondering what could he have been running away from, what significance, what weight did the name Xenith Vain hold over Frazier Kai. Though she guesses, in the end everyone was wondering in some way or another why he was so desperate to abandon his identity. Not long after his real name came out along with it came the names and identities of his mom and older sister. Two poor innocent people doxed and harassed over the life choices of a man who's long been disconnected from them. She felt bad for them. According to some sources his mom lost custody over him after being deemed an unfit parent due to her addiction to drugs and clear negligence towards not only his health but her own. He was said to be malnourished and was far behind in mental and physical development. People who claim to have been acquaintances from his childhood, though she isn't sure how trustworthy sources like that are, claim he was very socially withdrawn, lacked certain motor skills that kids his age should have had, and lacked certain milestones in his speech development. It was also said he spent majority of his childhood living with his older sister. She was generally sweet and had a good reputation among everyone who knew her and had a decent online presence that was also regarded in a good light until word of her relation to, and especially when it was out that she'd practically raised her, people believed she must've been far more sinister. People tend to believe, evil it's not born, evil is raised. And pushed that onto her. People assumed behind closed doors she probably abused and horribly mistreated Xenith— or as we've now come to know him, Frazier, for his morals and temperament to have become so skewed. Her once clean and appreciated presence disappeared immediately, almost everyone except for those who were personally close to her quickly jumped to blame and despise her, some, people, who ironically, tended to appear to be mothers, began to empathize with Xenith, pushing all of the blame of his heinous deeds onto her. Before long news was received that she'd committed suicide. It made sense. With all the hate and social ostracism from most all of society, constantly being recognized and openly, ridiculed, some even violently attacking her, there's no way someone could survive that way. Cecelia thought if she were Xenith's sister she'd surely have done the same. Cecelia didn't know if Xenith's sister was a good or bad person, she didn't know her, she didn't know anything about her but she firmly believed that she definitely didn't deserve what happened to her. Well, you're probably wondering, what any of this Xenith stuff has to do with ruining the life of her hero. For starters, remember that girl that accidentally made Maxciel fall in love with Xenith? Yeah… that was her. She doesn't know what happened but something clearly did. As soon as Xenith was put under arrest all sighting and signs of Maxciel's existence was completely gone. All but a few comments on his social media accounts bashing people who insulted or rejoiced at Xenith's death. But she was pretty sure, just as everyone else agreed, he'd probably been hacked because it wouldn't make sense for him, or anyone really, to be so offended on Xenith's behalf. But after a few days, even the person using Maxciel's account to defend Xenith stopped posting. It felt like a fever dream, like, as if Maxciel had never existed at all. And if Cecelia had to make a guess, she was willing to bet it definitely had something to do with what happened with Maxciel and Xenith. After all there's a big gap in time, months of the two of them alone together. Though during that time he was occasionally spotted out doing things like shopping and whatnot, other regular daily things, (which was the only reason Cecelia was even able to track him at all) though he didn't participate in any hero work during that time frame but because of the constant reassuring sightings, there was little worry of him or his whereabouts. Which only makes now even more strange. Now, when his worst adversary has finally been defeated he just disappeared, gone into thin air. Until about 6 months later, hikers came across a strange, rather modern looking house in the woods. Instantly they claimed they smelled an incredibly foul scent, and of course instead of doing the smart thing and calling authorities or just leaving it be, they walked inside to find the rotting and decayed corpse of a man. Said man carried the ID, passport, and hero registration card of Maxciel Bane. It was thusly assumed that it must've been Maxciel's body. The hikers claimed that inside the house was hundreds of lifelike drawings and sketches of the infamous Villain Xanith Vain. Scattered on the floors, hung on the walls, and particularly placed to cover every mirror and one sewn into one of the pillows on the bed. They said it was eerie, creepy, traumatizing. They found it really hard to believe that could ever be Maxciel. So did the rest of the world. But after extensive tests and DNA matching, it was confirmed that the body belonged to the beloved hero Maxciel. It was announced he died by suicide by one of the forensic workers who worked on Maxciel's body. He was thusly fired and his post was taken down quickly, but it was too late for the world had already seen. And more importantly, Cecelia had seen. She doesn't know exactly why he did it. No one will ever know. But she knows more than anyone else. She's the only surviving person who does know. And she was certain of this inkling. It definitely had something to do with Xenith. Perhaps the feelings she'd accidentally induced festered into something real leaving Maxciel too heartbroken to function, or he felt so disgusted with himself for ever even thinking he'd loved Xenith he'd ended it all. Or maybe something else happened in the time Maxciel was stuck in her illusion. But she was sure, it was her fault. She's ruined the life of her idol. Indirectly she knew, she's killed Maxciel Bane. The hero who unbeknownst to her, had truly genuinely grown to love the villain.
