ARIANA'S POV.
{THREE DAYS AGO.}
I let myself fall to the ground like a broken sculpture, but even as I fell, I didn't feel any pain. My whole body was already numb and frozen.
The rain continued to hit my face, until I had to close my eyes, feeling myself hanging on a string. A weakling like me, under the icy rain, in fact, I didn't think I'd be as weak as that. Whoever wanted to steal me could steal me, and do whatever they wanted with me.
I was tired already anyway.
For a while, I didn't feel the rain on my face anymore, and I opened my eyes. The hooded figure had crouched over me, staring at me.
"Young lady! Are you okay?" I allowed my eyes to stay open watching her. It was an old lady with deep lines etched in her face. Gray her cupped her left cheek, and her eyes looked shocked, and concerned.
I parted my lips to speak, but not a sound came out. The cold had gotten the best of me.
