ARIANA'S POV.

Miguel smiled at me. "It would really be nice to have someone new for a change. Nice meeting you, Ari. Who knows? You might start school again."

"Oh, come on. I've long given up on schooling. I have a great job at a company. A great house. There's no need for schooling. I still have some money, so settling here wouldn't cost me anything. Maybe I'd open a café, and bring more money home." I said, and he smiled.

"I'd actually like to work in a café. I'll be your first employee." He said, and I laughed. He was a little shy, and that was new. I didn't think I'd met anyone as shy as myself.

Not that I was shy, I simply had a destroyed self esteem.

"Sure. We can do that. So what are we doing in the restaurant first?"

He used a finger to scratch his neck idly as he looked around.

"Okay, uh, we still have to clean before anything. Dust just magically appears most of the time. Then uh, we will prepare meals. Can you cook?"
