ARIANA'S POV.

Luke looked a little disturbed, but I didn't say a thing. He was still worried about me, and my weakness, so the best I could do was appear bright and happy.

That way, he'd worry less.

"Do you want to go on a vacation?" He asked, and my eyes sparkled in excitement.

"Sure. I really enjoyed the one we did with the company members. It was splendid, and the games were so fun. Our room was great too. I'd love to do something like that again. It's the perfect way to get rid of this stress I feel."

"I'm going to get it done. Don't you worry. It'll be fine. You're going to be fine soon."

Luke and I kept talking, he held my hands, and looked at me so fondly. I wouldn't know, but it gave the vibes of someone looking at another person for the last time.

"You're acting like one of us is going to die. Like today is our last day." I laughed, and he chuckled.

"Well, who knows? A 'last day' might come."

I frowned.
