"You look great," Martha complimented while tying the scarf like a ribbon on her neck. It was a checkered-patterned royal blue dress with a thin brown belt.
"Thank you, Martha." And although the compliment did make her feel better, her heart still throbbed. It had been a few days since the argument. The days had gotten hectic for the preparation of the engagement.
"Just believe in yourself." Martha gave her final touch-up to the wavy hair, and then Helle walked downstairs where Orion sat on the couch. Unlike other days, he wore a black mock neck and pants with a long black trench coat that reached his knees.
"Let's go," she leaned towards Orion and spoke while also glancing at the laptop screen where hundreds of emails were piled up.
